Spoiler: Thoughts about the anime with spoilers

I gotta say, it was pretty good. I'm a fan of mystery-style plots, so this was an attention grabber for me. It got some pretty suspenseful cliffhangers, and I'm glad I got to marathon this show in one go because I bet those cliffhangers would've killed me if I had to wait a week. The title was really clever too since it refers to how Satoru ends up getting "erased" for 15 years because of the coma that resulted from saving the lives of those that otherwise would've been killed.

I wasn't too surprised the teacher turned out to be the killer though. I figured it was him in episode 9 when he talked about the key to getting a person-you-never-met's attention was to "charm" them, and then shortly after, Satoru accidentally finds Yashiro's stash of candy in the car, causing Yashiro to come up with some sort of excuse. Candy in the car... "charm" them with candy... yeah, you know where this is going.

I'm pretty shocked that Satoru x Kayo wasn't canon in the end. The series was really building up their relationship to the point the two became very close to each other. There were adorable together, and I thought it would perfect for that relationship to culminate in marriage. Turns out she married Hitomi instead. On one hand, it's odd that she married him since she seemed to be closer to Satoru and Kenya, with Kenya being the friend more closely involved in helping her than Hitomi. On the other hand, I think it's a human reaction to eventually learn to move on after the loss of a friend. Being in a coma for so long, she probably figured she couldn't wait forever.

I will admit though the scene where we see Kayo as an adult was my favorite scene in the anime. It was a very heartwarming scene overall, mainly because it's all thanks to Satoru she was able to live on and eventually have a child of her own.

I guess Satoru x Airi looks at the canon pairing in the end, at least if that final scene was anything to go by (which was also a joyful scene to watch) where they emphasize the whole "never stop believing" deal, which could be associated with love. If they really did end up together after the series' conclusion, it'd be a bit funny considering how Airi was called "potential wife material" in episode 1 (I forgot if it was either Satoru or his mom that said that).

Then again, this doesn't seem like the anime that was about romance, but I got those feelings after seeing all those Satoru x Kayo moments. Oh well, still an awesome show overall.

The original japanese title, "The town where only I don't exist", also makes a reference to that, but more directly to Kayo's composing(though they use different pronouns for "I", 'watashi' for Kayo's composing and 'boku' for the anime, which might be a hint that it's not actually talking about her...)
It's also kinda sad unnerving to see episode's 11 opening without Satoru and everyone moving on like nothing has changed and that he wasn't able to live in the timeline he fought so hard to achieve

Yashiro being the killer was obvious to me but I figured it out just by thinking "who could be the killer? There's the teacher and... wait there's just him, it's gotta be him then!"
I mean, considering he was literally the only male adult character from the time of the murders that wasn't specifically said to NOT be the killer AND that he kinda looked like the killer in the present, there WAS only one possible solution
The candy scene actually threw me off the opposite direction though, I thought they wouldn't be THIS obvious and that it was a Red Herring but alas, that still didn't rule out Mr. Only male from the 80s

As for Kayo X Satoru...

Just did a big grind fest in the Smash RPG, since the current opponents in the world I am in are obnoxious and I need to get stronger to reliably take them on.

Got Midna and Dedede hugely powered up compared to before (Midna's special attack is incredibly powerful now, basically guaranteed to take half of the opponents health in current Adventure Mode levels). And got a few knick-knacks here and there for Rosalina, Luigi, and Mega Man, and the others too I guess. I will focus on Mario tomorrow.

Also I'm approaching the Top 500 in the Arena Leaderboards, and I haven't lost a single match there.

This game is so good and the amount of ways you can power-up characters is insane.

I did notice that the "7" icon on the main menu disappeared, though, as well as the Sprixie Jar thing. Dunno what that's about. The latter needs to come back as I can get like, 500 Green Gems a day from it alone, and I'm trying to save up 4,888 of them to trade them in for Sonic, loads of coins, and 40 Ability Disks.

I love this game to death, my only problem being: There's a certain character in it that I wish I could kill, but for BS reasons I can't even if I throw a bomb at him. Also, it many things that make it unique, not only because of the Templar perspective, but also because there's one thing that everyone has always wanted to do when playing an AC game but you get in trouble for it, here, you can do it all you want, and I have gotten the most hearty laughs out of it.

Fusion Fall? I've only placed it once a long time ago. Never got that far because the processing on our old computer was ****. I found the game alright, though I agree some designs were a bit off. Like get a load of what happened with Computer.

Plus it had Codename Kids Next Door which was my favorite show of all time before Avatar took that spot.

A new Pokémon leak has been found, I was considering ignoring it, but it has some support to it as it guessed a couple things right ahead of time, so it may be worth discussing:

Today a user at Smogon named Cresselia~ posted that Sandalit, who was just revealed yesterday, had first been mentioned in a Chinese leak he had seen a few weeks ago apparently from the Chinese localization team since Sun and Moon is the first Pokemon game to be officially localized in Chinese IIRC. He provided the list to the mods at Smogon and after deliberating was allowed to post it, presumably as the mods felt it was possibly legitimate, and so I thought it wouldn't hurt to summarize it here. If the mods on NeoGAF feel this thread is inappropriate at the moment feel free to close it until more proof arrives.

Needless to say this information will of course contain major spoilers if legit, so turn back now! Here's a link to the thread on Smogon where the information begins to be posted: http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads...49746/page-199, but I'll summarize it too:

* Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio evolve into an archer, a wrestler, and a siren respectively---this matches this interesting "concept art" that has been circulating for awhile now but has yet to be confirmed or discredited.
* In addition to Salandit, there's New Pokemon based on a mushroom, a dolphin, a sea cucumber, a snowman, and some sort of "rugby monkey"---a monkey with a ball, apparently? If legit I imagine one or two of these Pokemon will be officially revealed soon, perhaps in CoroCoro, and if so that will speak to the legitimacy of this leak.

* Rockruff will evolve into a werewolf. The official site mentions Rockruff howling at night prior to evolution in its flavor text and if this list was originally seen before then, not sure though when it first appeared, that's a plus for it.

* Marshadow, a name we saw trademarked alongside the Box Legendaries a few months ago, apparently has a "very unique Typing". I've been speculating that Marshadow could be similar to Victini as a Mythical Pokemon revealed prior to the release of Sun and Moon, and I wonder if the upcoming Volcanion film could reveal him if my theory is correct at the end like what happened with Victini at the end of the final Diamond and Pearl film.

* There are apparently these special areas on the map that are hidden at first known as "districts" (?) where powerful Pokemon known as Overlords reside. Are these Legendaries? Or are they simply unusually powerful normal Pokemon with Hidden Abilities perhaps?

* No Gym Leaders. We've yet to see any real sign of Gyms this time around, and I was wondering about that honestly. Instead it seems the plot of the game involves forming a League and each Island is protected by an Island Leader. I assume the first one is Hala and Tapu Koko, who we've seen in previews, who serve as the Island Leaders of Melemele Island. It seems an actual Elite Four will eventually appear, perhaps in the post-game. *This was a mistranslation, it's actually "no information on Gyms"

* The diamonds seen in the logo, and in the bracelets the playable characters wear, are collectible and seem to unlock functions somewhat simillar to Mega Evolution but not quite---perhaps this is related to the "Super Move" Pikachu is shown using in a shot posted to the official site. One of these stones apparently will be used to access Ash-Greninja.

* You can ride almost any Pokemon, though what "almost any" includes isn't quite clear. A recent shot posted to the official site shows the player riding a Stoutland, so if this list was posted before that it's another plus in its authenticity.
