What are they?So those Resident Evil 7 spoilers going around.
Wow.
What are they?
What are they?
...Oh, and the man is credited as Chris Redfield, but looks nothing like the buff roid monster from 5 and 6.
Some think its Hunk posing as Chris.

I agree with this line but it makes me giggle regardless. He definitely looked better as the roid monster.
Tree Gelbman
So uh..
Is the game any good?
And are there other RE characters besides Chris "Boulder Punching in his youth" Redfield and apparently the reporter who I don't remember because I never played the game?
Eh.Apparently people are having mixed reactions. Some are saying it's good. Some are saying it's average and too linera.
Most people are praising Jack for being a great villain.
No one has found other connections to the games from what I've seen, but it's possible.
I don't think that's Chris though. Why would they release a movie with the roid rage version then have him look closer to his REMake/Code Veronica area here? Definitely think Hunk is intercepting a rescue from Chris.
Eh.
I just think using Hunk would be too smart. Are there other references to Hunk?
Glad to know Jack is fun though.
That's not how it works. Who here could say they have enough insight to dive headfirst into a game's development several months ahead of time, potentially before some important concepts are even ironed out, to have the game ready at a launch date that itself probably isn't set in stone yet? There was a problem fetching the tweetNintendo honestly should have started development on this a few months earlier to release it near launch
...More RE7 spoilers:
"Chris" gives you a handgun named ''Albert"
Hmm.
Even marathon runners have to start strong. That's not how it works. I understand the concerns over not having a ton of content on the Switch right at launch. Really, I do. But consider how much they already have planned for the first eight months. Look at this murderers' row of a lineup:
Launch: Breath of the Wild
Launch: Bomberman R
April: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
~April-May: ARMS
~June-July: Splatoon 2
(Speculation) ~September: Smash 4.5
~November: Super Mario Odyssey
(Speculation) Early December: Xenoblade Chronicles 2
I bet most of us here want to buy at least half of those. And that's not including the smaller titles. Or the stuff with still unconfirmed release windows, like Fire Emblem Warriors. Or even the rumored games that haven't officially been announced yet, like the wtf factor that is a Mario/Rabbids crossover, or Gamecube Virtual Console, or the ever-coveted worldwide release of Mother 3?
Sure, it may not be the hype bomb some of us thought we'd get, but this is a marathon, not a sprint, and the Switch looks well equipped to go a pretty far distance in its first year.
Makes just about as much sense as anything else in that series.Cuckoo RE7 theory:
What if Wesker has brought himself back in a cloned body of Chris?
Can you imagine if Capcom hired Hideo Kojima to make a Resident Evil reboot?Makes just about as much sense as anything else in that series.

When was the last time this thread was that active?
Also, this is my last premium day. It was fun while it lasted, butI guess all good things come to an end.
I knew someone would ask that....
Why is your custom title "I EAT ***"?
they said it would be 2pm pst so 5pm est is my guess if i can time properlyWhen's the FE Direct? Did they give us a time or just 'wednesday'?
Well that, and the rumor that its gameplay style is close to Code Name: S.T.E.A.M.'s is neat. I can dig that.Wanting something to exist just to prove people wrong is the best reason to want something to exist.
If it's like the Switch event, then it's about 8pmthey said it would be 2pm pst so 5pm est is my guess if i can time properly
Yeah I kind of agree and....i dont know why but i get this gut feeling the fire emblem direct tomorrow will be the first of 3-6 directs between now and the switchs launch
Here lies SwampYeah I kind of agree and....
Wait...
IT"S TOMORROW?!?!
Nah, in SM's case, they never said DirectGonna spoil the hype and say that it's probably a "Direct" as much as the Sun Moon reveal was
So far everything that the particular source that told me about Melee VC/"Smash for Switch" has come true (No Miiverse, no web browser (I directly mentioned it in the SG Discord)). Still waiting to hear about a particular Mii Costume and the games to be confirmed (obviously). The original source on it didn't say anything about analog triggers in particular, and I pointed out when I reported the rumor that I heard the Switch didn't have analog triggers from other sources. You can read that rumor again, here (Use the archive to show that I haven't changed it at all too). That being said, there's still a chance the rumor is wrong, so I suggest taking everything with a grain of salt. That reminds me. PushDustIn How do you feel about your source who's giving you that Smash info now that a these quote unquote trustworthy leakers were shown to be super wrong?
