Regardless of what games do or don't appear in FE Warriors, I really hope they don't just stick to Lords/MCs and main villains for the roster. That would be really boring. Gotta show some love to the supporting characters of the series.

Hoping that Merric and Minerva get some love. Xane would be sick too, even if I doubt he's likely. He could do regular sword stuff for his normal moves or w/e, but for his specials or supers or whatever he could turn into other characters who didn't make it into the game! Would be sick AF.

Ah, some OG love, eh? Yeah those would be three of my top picks from that game, too.

For reference to those not familiar with Shadow Dragon, Merric is a mage with Excalibur (a wind spell) as a signature spell, Minerva is a Wyvern Rider with an axe called Hauteclere as a signature weapon, and Xane is the Freelancer class I mentioned.

Because, let's be hinest here, if this game doesn't have a Camus archetype(who more likely will be Camus himself), then it failed step two of FE antagonists

i heard about his rant on asterisk war.I think its how i even found out about the show.Gotta give it a watch.As for My Hero Acadmia is one of two shows i gave a perfect 10/10 to,the other being gurren lagann.And Mob Psychho 100 is that one-punch man like show right?Idk not the biggest fan of OPM so not sure if i would like it

MP100 was made by ONE so yeah, it has some similarities
But it's not a parody like OPM, instead, it's more focused on its comedy and occasional action sequences.
Its animation is beautiful and unlike OPM who got a visual redesign by Yusuke, the style comes directly from ONE's webmanga which seems a bit odd at first but is actually really beautiful and smooth when animated.
The characters are the best part though, the main cast all gets enough screentime and development to make them memorable and Reigen is Best Boy I don't care what results of those awards were.
But the most important part is how ONE makes it so that the action sequences, despite being awesome, are not the main focus, instead being about human nature and emotions and how violence is not the answer in a way that doesn't make it sound like a parent scolding their kids for punching some other kid on school.
Seriously, go watch it, one of the best anime of last year.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the focus of FE: Warriors did come down to just a few games. HW didn't tap any of the other Zelda games aside from TP, OoT, and SS until DLC and expansions came into the picture and it could easily be the case for this game despite having popular characters like Ike and Roy to choose from. Regardless, I hope the characters they choose will be a lot of fun to play as even though I didn't get any WW or LA characters until later in Hyrule Warriors lifecycle, I still had a lot of fun playing with the characters that were there such as Zelda, Ruto, and Midna. So as long as they do a great job with the characters they give us, I still will have a lot of fun with the game.

Honestly, I still think the "Class-dependant moveset" is the best way to go: you can add a bunch of characters with only new voices and models being required instead of new animations and movesets.
Otherwise only Lords will get to show up and, really, outside of FE7, who ever cared about any of the Lords?
FE is not only about the Lords and the last three games that came out, you can't solo an FE game with Lords and you certainly cannot enjoy the best of what FE has to offer with just 3/4 of the worst games in the franchise.
I'm hyped for that game but I know it'll be a disappointment at the end but hey, I can at least dream, right?

Lords actually tend to be among the most popular in their respective games. Roy got first in the Japanese poll for FE6, FE7, while all three of them lost to Nino, had Eliwood and Hector in the top 3 while Lyn was #6, Ike goes without saying, Chrom and Lucina were the most popular characters of their gender respectively, and both Corrins placed in the top five in the Japanese poll for their gender respectively with Female!Corrin landing at the top of the female poll. Additionally, there's this poll from Famitsu, which while not the best poll due to a more limited sample size, does show that Ike, Marth, Lyn, Lucina, Chrom, Hector, and Ephraim make up the top 10 most voted characters in the magazine.

So there's actually a good incentive to tap into many of the different lords from the series as they tend to have the biggest following of their games. Granted that doesn't mean we can't get other popular characters like Nino, Tharja, Leo, Tiki, or Fin, or plot relevant characters like the brothers or villains, but there are a lot of fans who do care about the main characters and would like to see them playable.

i dont think OPM is bad just it didnt live up to the hype.Like its a nice side distraction but nothing i think people should go out of there way to watch.Like only people who watch shows like DBZ,Naruto,Fairy Tail,etc can really appreciate it cause it just that a parody of those types of shows.But i digress i'll add MP100 to the list.

But anyway, note this isn't as much of a roster as it is a list for story prominent(Or just Anna because Anna) characters that I would love to see(Most anyway, some I just added just because such as Lyn and Caeda.) For instance I'd be happy with either Sephirian or Ashnard, you don't have to give me both. Though I would be surprised if there was no Black Knight who I want most and seems like an obvious choice. But I love Tellius villians in general.


And plot related units are easier to list off. With ordinary units its a lot harder because there's so many that they could go with a lot of things.

It's not about whether or not I'm used to it. I'm used to buying accessories for things, but I shouldn't need to feel like I need them to get the best use out of them. I don't need to by a portable charger for my phone, because it already has decent battery life. I don't need a 64gb micro-SD card for my phone, because 32gbs is enough for a phone.

With the Switch, I feel like I need them. 32gbs is fine for a phone because most apps are barely even 1gb. Meanwhile games for the Switch are near 10gb, and I'm going to be buying way more than 3-4 games. The battery life is only 2.5-6 hours. If you're playing intensive games, you're practically going to have to be tethered for any long sessions, pretty much ruining the portability aspect.

These aren't deal breakers, they're not going to kill the console, but they really do dampen the experience.

People (at least here) still take power banks out with their because phones do die out quickly if you use your phone a lot, like surfing web, use app, play mobile games. Nintendo Switch you only play games with it, I doubt you will go outside and play for more than 3 hours when you really need to do something. And this also makes me wonder does Nintendo Switch have sleep mode or any screen save function?

Thoughts on some of the switch's 2017 games.

1-2 Switch: A game that I probably would mess around with on occasions if it was bundled with the system, but given that its a separate 50$ game, I don't think I'll ever touch it. Most of the minigames don't seem like they would appeal to me anyways, similar to other tech demo games Nintendo has release like Nintendo Land and Wii Play.

Arms: This seems like a game most Hardcore Nintendo fans will love, though I'm certain it will get mixed reception from most journalist and reviewers due to things like "Bare bones fighting mechanics" and "poorly implemented motion controls". The art style and character designs are somewhat reminiscent of overwatch (which is a good thing), the characters look like they have a ton of personality, and mechanics of the game seem like they would make it a great multiplayer experience, whether it be with other people online, or with Friends. I might pick it up, though I feel it might just collect dust since I rather play other games.

Mario Odyssey: This is the Mario Game I've been looking forward to for years. While I've enjoyed Galaxy and 3D World, I always found the gameplay style of Mario 64 to be the most fun, exploring the wide open map for stars and other collectables and overcoming fun platforming challenges. Unfortunately, 64 really hasn't aged too well and a large majority of the game is frustrating to play due to how awkward Mario's movement feels. Mario Odyssey seems to be taking the best out of 3d Mario's career, taking Mario's fluid movement from Galaxy and 3D World and combining it with several of 64 and sunshines advanced movement options. The level design looks to be a significant step up from 64 as well, with difficult obstacles more akin to Galaxy and 3D world. That being said, I feel the graphics are a slight step down from Mario 3D World, looking much more pixalated. Also, I noticed that the draw distance of the human characters is REALLY bad. Hope Nintendo fixes these issues by the holidays.

Also, can I just say that I love how a lot of Mario's animations are inspired by his 64 animations? Thats such a nice throwback.

Splatoon 2: I never bought the original Splatoon , but I'm definetly picking this one up. Has a lot of cool weapons, including dual guns (my favorite) and looks very nice graphically. My potential issue with this game may be the way the camera controls, which has destroyed my experience in pretty much every other FPS and TPS games like Halo MCC and Star Wars Battlefront.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: Picking this up. Fixes most of my issues with Mario Kart 8 vanilla, namely lacking dual items, lack of Dry Bones and Bowser Jr, and the Bare bones battle mode. Playing this on the go will be pretty fun like Mario kart 7 and it looks like an all around great experience like the original game.

Zelda Breathe of the Wild: Looks like a great game and a solid contender for GOTY. Graphics look amazing, mechanic are new, but nonetheless look crisp as well, exploration looks very fun, etc. etc. Not a fan of weapon durability for a game like this when compared to something else like Fire Emblem, but it will likely work out in the end to make this game feel like a grand adventure. Really hoping this will not disappoint.

Fire Emblem Warriors: As a person who never played Hyrule Warrirors, I'm extremely excited for this game. Given that the basic plot structure of Fire Emblem games is more suited for this type of game, I feel this game will stay more true to the Fire Emblem universe. Really hoping the developers use characters from some of the older games like the Sacred Stones and the Blazing Sword, but I honestly wouldn't mind if the developers just pulled characters from the 3ds and DS games given that these games did contain several great characters. Also hoping that the developers add characters and weapons via DLC like they did in Hyrule Warriors.

Oh yeah, I never gave my unimportant opinions on a game I haven't played nor seen for a significant amount of time and take wild guesses about what developers are thinking even though they probibly don't know what they are making in a feble attempt to get attention as a substitute for real human affection.
Nah, I'm just joking.
But Arms. I think that it's a cool looking game but it seems like a "Remember That Game?" type of game. It's giving me Codename Steam Flashbacks for some reason. Although, one has to suspect that the controls have to be a bit flawed because even if the controller detects everything perfectly (which in this case, because of the simplicity of the game it doesn't have to) the average player's reaction time won't let them make much progress in the game. But the traditional controls should at least mitigate the issue. So it should be fine.
Fire Emblem Worriers makes me worry. What if this becomes a thing with every game franchise? Joust warriors? Animal Crossing Warriors? ...Ni No Kuni Warriors? The sky's the limit when you don't give a ****!
I like Mario Galaxy 3. It loooks gooood.

TBH I was never excited for Breath of The Wild because I haven't finished any games in years, much less a Zelda one. I'm not a fan of Zelda, I'll not have money to buy it, I like Dark Souls, etc.
For some reason, USFII makes me drool. It might be Cammy, my love of fighting games, or my craving for another Street Fighter I can play on a Nintendo console but it looks good enough to eat.
Again, Splatoon 2 looks cool. I wanted to be pro at Splatoon 1 so BAD so I'm glad I'll have more people to play against.
