Okay, I have a question, between X, AlphaSapphire and Sun, which one should I get?

Yeah haven't played any of the 3DS Pokémon games yet

X killed my hype for pokemon after White made me uber hyped.
Alpha Sapphire is a remake
Sun is the new hotness and brought the hype back for me


Going to hardcore recommend Sun

I didnt play ORAS so idk about them but if you like Hoenn then those too

Nintendo insisted that they weren't selling the Switch at a loss, although again their old way of handling the cost of online is being increasingly rejected by people who want freebies no matter what it costs Nintendo.

Then again, they might specifically be planning a price drop at around the same time that they start charging for the service that would put it below the profit margin and necessitate it, who knows.

Well then, that's partly why Sony and Microsoft charge. Now I'm wondering why Nintendo charges aside from, online costs money to keep up.

Eh, I don't think I ever really play any nintendo games online anyway now that I think about it, so it's not too big of a deal to me. Or at least as long as it's an X-Box Live/PS Plus type deal anyway and I have access to basic internet connection tasks like downloading games/DLC without needing to pay for internet.

The question is; do you want to actually get all the Pokemon?

X is easiest to get into due to some extremely easy mechanics. AlphaSapphire is more challenging. Sun is great in its own way.

All three are good games, but I think Sun is the best pick for now due to having a truly engaging story and bringing a more creative spin to the series.

X and Y are alright games, but I'd recommend them the least out of the 3.
ORAS is the best way to expirience Hoenn IMO so I think you should consider that.
Sun and Moon are my favorite games in the series personally. They feel like a fresh expirience.
I'd recomnend Sun the most.

I don't think anyone should consider getting a Gen 6 game over SM
XY get boring just before the second gym and ORAS is good but HMs are bull**** and has less challenge and Pokemon variety
SM are, like, one of the best Pokemon games and, gameplay wise, it's undoubtely THE best

The fact that the switch needs a separate Smart Phone app for voice/group chat really bugs me.

I think having an app is cool, but there still should be a way to do all that through the console itself. Otherwise, I'm just going to use Discord. And what about people who don't have smart phones?

Not at all! BoTW looks really fresh and exciting for just about anyone. Besides, continuity is not really a major thing with Zelda. You can start any one of the games just fine.

Because even if you're poor, you can get a smart phone for pretty cheap. It doesn't have to be the top of the line smartphone, but it'll do a majority of what you need just as well as as the top of the line one.

Well Nintendo does also have E3 as well to announce any sort of major projects they have cooking up. The presentation was by no means an end but a beginning. I eagerly await.

Regarding the more reveals to come part; had a feeling what we were shown wasn't it, they did say 80 games in development. I feel like they should have revealed a few more of these games at the event though so the launch line up and year one doesn't feel flimsy.

Regarding Mother 3 and Metroid. I dunno, we'll see.
