We get tons of roadkill around here, and the things that vary the most are deer and bear. I've seen both get bisected, but have also seen them basically explode into a red mist and stain the highway red. The bisected bear was still alive for a small bit since I saw the actual impact. It was...well, that kind of thing tends to stick with you. It died quickly after, but man...such a sad sight.

This is why I'm glad it at least wasn't the front half in the image. With it being the butt it's more just kind of shocking than anything, but having to actually look the victim in the face would have been DARN depressing.

One time a car I was in wiped out a bird and I had to look away the entire time so as not to be traumatized while the other occupants cleaned it up and were traumatized the entire rest of the drive. Seeing something with a puppy face get hit and watching it go through that would be on a whole other magnitude of awful.

Nasty snowstorm going on for a few days. Power went out last night and has almost lasted 24 hours, Thankfully, it came back on an hour ago. The storm seems to be ending tomorrow or the next day, and I don't think we'll get another one that big soon.
Not only that, I found out that KH 2.5 was released in Japan the other day, and I'm watching videos.

The AC Chronicles games are literally named after countries so it's not totally off the wall for them.

That's a sub-series though and as far as we know right now the Assassin's Creed that takes place in Egypt is not one of those and is in fact a main series entry. I've always seen Chronicles as one game anyways. One game with multiple stories.

Splatoon seems like the kind of thing that could've started as a port but then they just kept adding to it to the point where it could stand as its own title.

I could see them using the original game as a base but still aiming for a sequel the same way Smash from Melee -> Brawl and Brawl -> 4 worked.

Since the original title managed to go from finalizing the character concept to a playable if somewhat beta public demo in six months, it's interesting to think how much having the groundwork set up already could speed up the process. . .

I'm at that stage where I would not be surprised if there was a Smash Switch reveal and if there wasn't.
And if there is one, I'd be more surprised if the Ice Grabbers weren't the first "new" character(s) revealed.

They're so predictable they bore me. Doesn't help that I never really cared about them to begin with.
