So I saw this video on my recs and I was initially rolling my eyes but I decided to watch it anyway, it's actually pretty well made.

Warning that it contains spoilers for Sun and Moon.

And for anyone wondering no the timeline shown in the thumbnail is just one from an earlier point in the video.

Spectacular movie.


Easily my favorite non-pixar disnet movie and may be my new favorite Disney period.


Other than one song and a few badly timed jokes it was near perfect. It's also one of very few movie where I actually liked the signing parts.

Just because one frame looks off doesn't mean it's done poorly if it works well in motion, even if clearly visible. Animation isn't about the individual frame, but rather every frame working together. If one "questionable" frame helps make the whole product better, then the show is better off for it.

This looks disgusting on it's own, but in motion it works.

As for the exaggerated expressions, I think it makes the show a lot more lively.

How was it? I don't recall hearing anything negative about it, and looking at some screenshots, despite being 3D it really captures the artstyle.

Other than that, I highly agree with you. I enjoyed Zootopia a bit more, but Moana is amazing.

I remember reading on the internet back in like 2007 about how if you ran around the statue 100 times you would unlock Luigi.

It's actually pretty great, even for someone that's not a Peanuts fan like me

IMO any new characters will definitely be Switch exclusive. There'd be no reason to buy the Switch version otherwise, so making them exclusive increases the install base.
