Scenario: Smash Switch has a Pokémon newcomer from generation seven. However, that newcomer is Bruxish. How do you react/celebrate/cope/riot?

I'd question the decision for a very long time. Like, weeks or so, even if we are given the answer as to why it was picked.
... And then I'd go "Far from the worse Gen 7 Pokémon that could have picked, but still really dumb tbh".

We have to get the grass, fire, water trifecta. That's why Decidueye is going to be added.

And that's the reason Squirtle was cut (because you can't have two water reps), and why Mewtwo was replaced by Greninja.

Also Ivysaur was cut because quadrupeds don't work in Smash.

It took me to the second line to realize that was satire.

To be honest I really, really like the characters in Sun and Moon and probably like them more than the new Pokémon themselves, so if I had to choose a Gen 7 character for Smash, I'd want a Pokémon Trainer-style thing, even if it is just with one Pokémon.

My first choice would be Guzma with Golisopod. I love Guzma with a burning passion. Roy has to stop getting that "our boy" chant, because we only have one boy and we all know who it is.

If I had to have a second choice, I guess I'd say Gladion and Type: Null/Silvally.

Guzma is my ultimate Smash Pipe Dream.

Indeed, we did. But even before when we were arguing I realized the thread needs both points of view on things. So it's nice to see you back.

What's your thoughts on the Switch so far, man? You missed all that hype.

Great concept, but there's not really enough about specifics about the game library for me to really pass judgment.

I'll be buying it regardless, but if the rumors are true about the Switch's first year being loaded with touched-up ports of Wii U games, I'll be quite concerned about its chances of succeeding. In theory, it's great to have a packed lineup of games even if some of them are old and the Wii U bombed so these games will be new to a lot of people, but at the same time, this sort of thing could just as easily backfire, be deemed as laziness by the public and deter them from it.

What, it's not like anyone knows what song I'm talking about or will be curious enough to listen for themselves. For me, that along with the Goku song was one of the biggest mistakes SB ever did.
