Looking forward to the v3.5 update of Killer Instinct tomorrow.

Not sure if I'm all that excited to the shadow skins, though.

I might be the only one who cares, but Justice dropped their latest album on Spotify not too long ago.
If anyone is curious, here's one of the songs
Gotta say, two songs in, I'm liking it a lot more than "Audio, Video, Disco." It feels like they nailed what ever they were trying to do with that.

It has Volt Switch. Sucks that it can't learn Rain Dance regardless, Hurricane would have been helped.

Also, anyone know where to find Pikachu?
It does? I kept hearing it didn't get VS during the datamining though I guess I was too dumb to ever check that
Just put it in a Rain team, Pelliper shares the Rock weakness but counters Fire and Vikavolt resists Pelliper's Electric weakness

Also, Pikachu can be(rarely) called by wild Pichu(which is also rare btw) in Melemele Island
Static helps you find Pichu easily tho
Someone name all the moves you think are good for a Decidueye to have. Mine has 2 moves that max at 5 and 10 pp and I dont want that

Vikavolt isnt in the wild. you need to get it evolved
Spirit Shackle, Aerial Ace, Leaf Blade and another move for coverage if it's just for main game
My friends and I were talking potential teams in SuMo over some dinner. One of them brought up a unique pair that I'm working on getting now too because I love the potential in it: Torkoal and Minior.

Torkoal got an awesome ability in Drought this gen, which means it can set up Sun for its team. It can also Spin hazards away and tough out more damage then Ninetales. There's not much to say here- Torkoal is just a sun setter. But Minior is where it gets interesting.

Minior is probably one of the best Pokémon of the generation. The combination of Shields Down and Shell Smash makes Minior transform into a quick and powerful nuke. Holding a White Herb to remove the lowered defenses from Shell Smash allows us to have some form of bulk, despite being low, after Shields Down, but the real trick here is getting Acrobatics to work, which also happens to be a STAB, meaning once you use Shell Smash and activate Shields down, this attack will hit blisteringly hard. Next to that is Power Gem, which is boosted by Shell Smash plus is a dependable STAB that will wreck anyone weak to Rock. But now we get to the tide turner: Solarbeam. Why Solarbeam? Well, one of Minior's biggest checks happens to be Quagsire- who with Unaware doesn't care about Shell Smash. Sun also weakens Water-Type attacks so Minior won't die as quickly. Finally, Solarbeam has great coverage that Rock/Flying does not have, including Water, Ground and Rock. Solarbeam is a heavy hitting attack that after Shell Smash will deal massive damage.

Torkoal and Minior also have a decent Core. Torkoal can switch out to Minior to block Ground attacks, and Minior can switch out to resist Ice. Torkoal's ability to Spin makes it even more invaluable as Minior does have a weakness in Rock- meaning Stealth Rocks will deal more damage to it.

In the end, I love the potential of these two, and am working on obtaining them. I'm also gonna look up who works well with this Sun team later once I do so. If this team is fully built, I may open up to challenges. Anyways, time to go catch some Pokémon.
I have been testing recently in Showdown and Oricorio is great with Volcarona
They share a Rock weakness but Oricorio has some great defensive typings: Pom Pom covers for Water with RD and only adds resistances to its Flying types while Sensu adds two great immunities(though Knock Off weakness is worrying)
Baile is kinda pointless with Volcarona around(probably does better with Lilligant) and lol Pa'u Style lol Psychic

So, now to how it works:
Oricorio's Dancer may not sound that intimidating but when put in practice it turns it into a machine of destruction.
With Volcarona, it can copy two very useful moves: Quiver Dance and Fiery Dance
Quiver Dance is one of the best set-up moves and Fiery Dance is one of the few attacking moves Oricorio can copy, and probably the best.
The set would be:
Oricorio @Leftovers
Dancer
Calm 252 HP/252 Sp.Def/4 Sp.Atk
Calm Mind/Roost
Protect
Air Slash
Revelation Dance

Calm Mind to boost it even further or Roost for recovery(though other Pokemon can do that in doubles)
Protect is Oricorio's greatest tool as paired with Volcarona's Fiery Dance allows it to attack while being completely immune to enemy moves
Air Slash and RD are basic STAB and powerful enough and allow it to attack twice a turn
Have been running that spread on Showdown and Oricorio has been able to OHKO and 2HKO a lot of stuff WITHOUT BASICALLY ANY INVESTMENT IN SP.ATK

I can see Oricorio doing great in VGC
Also, two teams with Oricorio leads is actually very funny because everyone will be copging each other's moves

Woke up to a pretty big earthquake here in Japan. Registered at a 6.9, 7.3 initially. It lasted quite a while and slowly picked up strength. Nothing broken and my wife and I are a-ok. Though there's some tsunami warnings in the coastal areas and some damaged houses near the epicenter.

Well, at least you can your wife are alright. I'd hate to live in a coastal area if Earthquakes were a fairly common thing.

Oh man...at least you and your family are ok. That's good to hear, at least.

I hope not too many people get hurt or killed...that's some scary stuff.
I hope everyone over there ends up being ok.

Seriously, can anyone trade a Red Nectar with me? I don't want to wait until past half of the third island for Baile Oricorio
I need vitamins in SuMo. Anyone know where they are located?
Pretty sure they can only be bought in the Battle Royal(and I'm assuming the Battle Tree too)

The second part of the post was in response to Mad Dummy's post, it has nothing to do with Oricorio's nectar
That's not true. I've seen them at a shop, I just don't remember where.
Well, I can at least tell you it isn't from Malie City and back 'cause I haven't seen them yet

I hear that the Fukushima reactor cooler has stopped. RIP Pacific ocean even more than last time
Glad you're okay, though. I pray for the best.
Also glad your financial / marital situation seems to have stabilized since last we talked. :D

I heard the Fukushima plant is perfectly fine and that there's no worry about radiation leakage like last time. We are pretty much in the center of Japan and away from the coast. So we didn't feel it as much as those in Fukushima Prefecture. Still, lots of shaking, rattling, and a frazzled cat made things a bit hectic. And my in-laws in kumamoto are still trying to rebuild their house after five month long earthquakes that's rattleled that region back in April.

So this is a nice story. Good guy Nintendo. :p

The whole project is pretty interesting. For those that don't know, Sky Skipper was an arcade game that Nintendo made but never got past playtesting. This guy wanted to find out everything about the machine and recreate it for historical purposes.
