Best I got from my memory is a Shiny Absol. Give to one of my siblings since I'm not too much of a fan of it.

I did trade a Shiny Sneasel for Victini though. I consider that a moral victory. If I get Meloetta I'll be done with Gen 5. I think Porygon 2 is the only Gen 2 Pokemon I'm missing. And Huntail/Gorebyss(or however you spell it.)For Gen 3.

I lost count how many Zigzagoons and Poochyenas I kept trading back. People pass around their Eevee's quite a bit too.

Back when I was completing the National Dex in Gen VI, I offered several Eevees on the GTS to get Pokemon I needed.
Eventually though I started offering Phiones with Pokerus.
While I never saw Eevees on Wondertrade, they were quite popular on the GTS.

I would've never have guessed where to find Necrozma if I hadn't looked it up. It reminds me of those fake videos of how to catch Arcues or 'Mewthree' where they'd slap on a repel and circle around in some very earlier route with lv ten pokemon.

Also, I heard from other people to save my master ball for it, but I managed to catch it with an ultra ball just fine.

A neautral nature is always better than a nature that hinders the pokemon's main strength. Most of my soft resets came from bad nature.(I have no idea why, but the game loves to give me natures that hinder the selling stat of the pokemon and boost the weakest stat they have.)

Just got the first one with a modest nature. Smogon looks like they are leaning toward Timid, but I kind of prefer pure attack power increase

6th Pokemon Sun update incoming! The Ula' Ula adventure is going strong!

First thing I did was fight Molayne, the man in charge of the observatory and a good friend of Kukui. I like this dude. Not only is he a pretty jolly guy; he also makes Kukui's identity as the Masked Royale even more obvious. Molayne's team consisted of Steel-types, so he wasn't much of a challenge. Puka had a great first battle as an Alola Raichu, especially for taking out that Skarmory. His Metang wasn't too troublesome either. Selkie was my only answer to it; she succeeded with a flinch onto the Metang thanks to Bite, and when it tried to attack, it only got one Bullet Punch. Thankfully, Selkie lived it.

Going into the observatory, one of the scientists gives you a Comet Shard. What a blessing! Free $30,000 to sell!

And now it was time for the Island Trial. The TM shop at Maile City has Bulldoze, so I taught it to Urlacher in preparation for this. It was a useful move. I needed a way to deal with those Charjabugs effectively. The move worked pretty well in holding them off. Then came Totem Vikavolt. To be honest, it was alright. Not too hard, not too easy. I completely forgot it had Levitate though, so I only did damage to the Charjabug with Bulldoze. Thankfully, Urlacher did leave some damage on Vikavolt via its Z-Crystal before getting KOd. Troubled, I pondered who would be a good answer... then I looked at Selkie. Wow, I can't believe I didn't start with Selkie right away. Had I done so, this battle would've been much easier, especially if I gave it the Rockanium-Z prior. I forgot Bugs were weak to Rock. Oh well.

This part was a bit nerve-wracking. On the turn I revived Urlacher, the Charjabug got a Thunder Wave on Selkie while Totem Vikavolt used Charge. At that point, I knew I had to get lucky with attacking through the paralysis in order to win; no time to heal Selkie either because I couldn't risk a turn to receive potential damage. Luckily, things work out for me. Paralysis didn't affect Selkie, and it got two Accelrocks to knock out the Totem Vikavolt. All was left was that Charjabug. After healing up Selkie, the Charjabug started to spam Mud Slaps constantly, and it reached the point Selkie got unlucky and kept missing her attacks. Thus, I switched into Toucan Sam to negate the next Mud Slap, then used Drill Peck to finish it off.

I get the Electrium-Z for completing the trial, and then Molayne comes in to congratulate me. Here's a fun fact: Molayne and Sophocles are cousins! Bet you didn't know that. Molayne also revealed he himself appointed Sophocles to be the next Trial Captain rather than letting the Kahuna do it. Judging from this detail, I guess a family member can let someone else in the family take over as a trial captain.

Now we head to go back to Maile Garden to meet up with Kukui to return his mask. There, he challenges some Team Skull Grunts to battle and... Oh man, Guzma is here! This guy's dialogue is great! He even has a really good encounter and battle theme, but I'm not going to post them here since others have already done that a few times yesterday.

As for the battle? Actually really easy. I opened with Toucan Sam against his Golisopod. That Golisopod gets OHKOd on the first turn thanks to a critical hit from the Drill Peck. This left Guzma with only his Ariados.

I switched into Mata Hari against it just so it could get one Slash and gain some boosted EXP. I then switched out and used Selkie against it, following up with an Accelrock for the win. That battle went quicker than I expected.

Guzman and the grunts head out, I get the Primarinium-Z from Fukui, and now we are allowed to travel through Route 12. We run into Hapu again, and she gives us the Mudsdale Poke Pager so that we can navigate those thick rocks that are present in the route. Turns out she was going to give us this Poke Pager back when Lillie walked out of the Malie Library, but she didn't give it to us then. For what reason? It's this.

I feel like I'm reminded of that scene from Attack on Titan when Krista returned Armin, Jean, and Reiner's horses, and three guys just stared at her like she's a heavenly guidance. I could imagine it must've been a similar circumstance here, except Hapu was Armin/Jean/Reiner while Lillie was Krista.

Nothing much happened in Route 12. When I got to Route 13, I encountered both Hau and Gladion. Gladion reveals that Team Skull has found out about Cosmog, and he begs us to protect it. He walks away, pondering how did Team Skull find out about the Pokemon in Lillie's bag? A mystery indeed.

There are no trainers nor any wild Pokemon in Route 13, so it was off to Tapu Village and Route 14. Once again, a few trainers here and there, but they were all duable. I reached the Aether House and get challenged by a Preschooler. Said Preschooler was handled easily. Acerola walks in, and we find out she plays with those kids pretty often. She's also the Ghost Trial Captain, and she takes us to the creepy supermarket in Route 14 where the next trial awaits!

This is going to be interesting...

So anyways, I found a cool set on Smogon for Tsareena, and because I traded for Bouncee, the Bounsweet in-game trade, I am gonna breed it with a Jolly Comfey with Play Rough to pass both Nature and Move to the baby. Here's the set.

After successfully interfering with Team Skull's plans, I flew back to the Aether House, and found out that Lillie was kidnapped, and then battled Gladion. After that, me, Gladion and Hau went to the ferry terminal and I battled Nanu, who revealed himself as the Kahuna of Ula'Ula Island.
That Sableye gave me some trouble... Greg was going to use first impression, but it knew Fake Out and used it. Then Power Gem crit and Emergency Exit activated. Vastra eventually defeated it, but not after taking some heavy damage. His other 2 Pokemon weren't much of a trouble, though.
Before we get to the next thing that happened, I will say that I spoiled myself on some of the plot so I did know that the Aether Foundation is indeed evil as we all speculated... But I didn't look at all of the screenshots, so I wasn't fully surprised.
Then, we made it to Aether Paradise, and I battled some Employees, as well as Faba.
I eventually battled Faba and an employee in a tag battle alongside Hau, and somehow, Faba's Hypno was faster than Coo... Coo was put to sleep by Hypno, but woke up the same turn thanks to my love and care. Spirit Shackle KO.
Next, I battled 2 Skull grunts, and then Guzma, whose fight was actually pretty challenging.
Then, I encountered Lusamine... And I cannot look at her the same way that I did before.
This woman is MESSED UP. She had frozen Pokemon in her lab thing, for some reason (I accidently skipped some of the dialogue before I could finish reading it all). She's appearently a terrible mother, too, according to Lillie's description.
Then I battled her. Her battle theme was really good. As for the fight itself, her Clefable was kind of annoying with Moonblast lowering Vastra's Sp. atk and getting Defense order through Meteronome, but I eventually got through that and the rest of the fight was rather easy.
Than she and Guzma got sucked into a wormhole.
I'm currently at Poni Island.
