Right, I'm not talking about fanbases, to clarify. I just mean teasing in the game/anime/manga/etc.If I recall correctly, Red is usually shipped with either his female counterpart, Leaf or his Rival, Blue (cause PokeYaoi)
I don't think any of the protagonists in the games have any clear relationships with anyone, at least none that I recall.... I guess you might be able to make a case for Shauna in X & Y though.
Ash has definitely been shipped with pretty much every female travelling companion by the fanbase though (With the exception of Iris) With Serena, Dawn and Misty probably being the most popular ones.
It's really because the fans thought of much punnier names than the localisation team.Wow, people really dont like the name of the pokemon for some reason
tough crowd
Yeah, as said, Shauna probably and Brendan and May might have been a few small hints here and there. But nothing really much more than that in terms of the games at least.Right, I'm not talking about fanbases, to clarify. I just mean teasing in the game/anime/manga/etc.
But yeah, this isn't too surprising. The main protagonist given a potential partner? Cliched but normal.
aayy, My man...meanwhile I ship Red x Gold...
Gonna be rough but ill go for itSo here's a fun little activity I thought up. I call it the "Personalized Smash Bros." game.
Basically, with this game, you pick your five favorite Nintendo franchises and fill Smash 4's roster with just games from that franchise. This would allow for characters who wouldn't get in any other way, theoretically, and should in theory be different depending on each person, hence the "personal" moniker.
As a bonus, you can still include the third party characters, since it may be harder to get 58 characters otherwise. They won't count toward your five series. I said five Nintendo franchises, after all.
I'll post mine in a bit.
Edit: ...No, you can't pick Smash as one of the five series. No loopholes.
Really? Every time I see Iris brought up, the fanbase seems to scoff at that idea. Then again, Iris was probably the least popular female companion of Ash to the point she didn't even return during the XY Saga but with that said. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised if she had some people who shipped her with Ash.He gets shipped with everyone, even Iris. No exclusions, no exceptions, nothing stops it, not even denial.
Let's see.So here's a fun little activity I thought up. I call it the "Personalized Smash Bros." game.

This wasn't a very fun play through to be honest. I usually always have the TyAmpVap trio in my team. As you can see, I threw Ho-Oh in there, and that was just to speed things along. I'm going to do this over, but this time, I'm going to use different Pokemon. Possibly make a prebuild of my team before actually making the new game.
There's a few Pokemon I want to use this time, and are as followed, but not limited to:
Thoughts?
I actually think Brendan and May is a possible canon paringA case could be made for Brendan and May since you do take May out to that Planetarium place in the Delta Episode.
In my mind that's equivalent to the case for shauna.
I'm gonna Handicap myself and use only 3.So here's a fun little activity I thought up. I call it the "Personalized Smash Bros." game.

Wait a minute.... Don't they have the same mother though? Oh no...All I can see is an angry wife
So Decidueye is the dorky father?Found this really well-made gif on Tumblr featuring the final evolutions of the starters and their basic stages. I think everyone should see it.

Decidueye is really easy to say. :|Time for my thoughts;
Incineroar: Name is... eh. But I do like it. it fits its design and being an obvious Tiger Mask expy is fun. Types match a Heel Wrestler perfectly.
Decidueye: Strange name. I admit I did like Robinhoot better, but being that it's Grass/Ghost, and the name has some meaning(I can't remember the exact meaning, but I remember and agree it fits), it's no problem. Hard to say easily.
Primarina: More normal name, but I'm one of the few people who liked Entermaid. Clearly a Mermaid, though.
Cynthia: Easy cameo to see. Not surprised in the slightest. Should be fun.
Red and Blue: I like 'em. Them being friendly with each other does remind of how their anime counterparts became friends later on instead of just rivals. Although to be fair, the anime did do it first. But really, this is cool. Also, great designs.
Cosmog: Funny name. Design reminds me of a certain Gen V Pokemon.
Overall impressed besides a few names at best.
*Proceeds to fill in roster with favorite Pokemon and FE characters*So here's a fun little activity I thought up. I call it the "Personalized Smash Bros." game.

I'm in the same boat and all day I've been trying to come up with blatantly wrong pronunciations to see where people are going wrong.idk how people find Decidueye to be hard to say Im more confused by that then anything
You mean Brazilian burrowing owl ?I read that Decidueye is based on an long legged Owl species that went extinct, explaining the Ghost typing.
Now Im sad, but is cool tbh.
That's what I thought it was too.Kinda both
Deciduous and Deadeye is what I think the name is combined with
