You know, it's fun to think about the flipside of the Switch's concept.

The concept is that it's a home console that you can take anywhere. Play console games on the go.

But there are certain traditionally handheld games that could be really fun on a TV. Stuff like Professor Layton and Ace Attorney. Typically, one would play those games in isolation on a bus or even just in their bed. But if they made these games for Switch, you could play them on the TV with family or friends and enjoy it together, and they can help you solve some of the puzzles/mysteries.

Problem: This is the majority's opinion there. FE Fates? Treehouse should be fired. TMS? Any change is unwelcome. DQ7 having a SINGLE line that has a character say she doesn't like the idea of women being objects? SJW propaganda. Persona 5 boxart being slightly changed so the cat doesn't get covered up by the ESRB logo, which inadvertently covered up a character's breasts? Absolutely unacceptable. The only third party company I know of that Nintendo themselves localise their games of is from Level-5. I'm not quite sure on the others though.

Also, if the 3DS is really getting a successor of its own, I wonder what that will be all about. I do hope it keeps the dual and touch screen functionality though since I kind of like that. Especially for franchises like Professor Layton and Art Academy that sort of depend on them.....

It's possible being inside a Pokeball owned by someone psychologically alters a Pokemon slightly to be more compatible with their trainer as well due to how Pokemon start to mimic the moralities of their trainers and follow their actions without question when a trainer is of a "qualified" gym badge count, so that could present other problems environmentalists don't want to deal with.

Though these discussions are entertaining, they inevitably break down when we're shown the many inherent contradictions of the fictional universe in question.

We know people get paid to do **** online to push political and cultural agendas. My caution is to always look at the particular individuals involved, not what larger group they claim to be part of.
That aside, they're doing almost exactly what you're doing: see thing to get outraged over, get outraged over it. The other side is just as keen on citing real examples of ridiculous SJW cultural marxist suppression and extrapolating that all SJWs are cultural marxists who will stop at nothing to have their puritanical way. Might they then be baited into getting outraged at something that's not worth getting outraged at? Sure. You've likewise. I've done likewise. Most of us probably have.

Oh yeah, I forgot there was some sort of controversy with that game as well.

Other than the motion controls ruining the immersion and Nintendo's attempt at advertising with memes (Just look up Extremely Spoopy Trailer to see it with your own eyes), that was kind of the thing that scared many customers away from the game since it's kind of an important part of Yuri's past. In addition to the already baffling decision to make the game digital exclusive in the US (and Europe's limited run).

Hopefully Tecmo don't shelf the series for good because of this. I actually want a sixth game that can really fix some of Maiden of the Black Water's flaws. A more focused plot, less protagonists to make things less busy, more creative ghost designs like the Tall Woman, slightly improved controls, better atmosphere, and less claustrophobic rooms that don't limit the potential of ghost combat (even the older games didn't have such tight rooms).
