I argued against callously generalizing opinions into extreme brackets in which divisive opinions would be categorized as innocuous, not that people weren't entitled to those opinions or the freedom to express them. People can think whatever they want and everyone should be entitled to speak their mind.

Well, it wasn't very clear in the post you wrote das all. It sounded more like you were suggesting that some ideas were fine, and others weren't. And that having certain notions was a slippery slope.

I mean, you literally said:

You need to realize that criticism should be expected when you post on a public forum. That's what discussion is all about. It seems that whenever someone counters something you say, you recoil, say you don't want to argue anymore, and then complain about how everyone is supposedly out to get you when it's not the case at all. And then you just do the same thing the next day or so.

But posts like these are just trying to draw attention to yourself, in essence. They don't encourage discussion. It just promotes a woe-is-me attitude when no one else attacked you in the first place. They're basically spam.

People can disagree with you. It happens in life. A lot. Complaining about other people attacking you when they just disagree doesn't make you look any better. Life isn't all about everyone nodding in agreement at everything you say, nor should it be. And who knows? Maybe you can learn something. No one's right 100% of the time. But completely ignoring and berating those who disagree with you isn't going to help anyone.


Just stop with the dramatics, please. It's gotten out of control at this point. No one's out to get you.

Like, there are times when I legitimately try to trigger people and piss them off for my own amusement, and there are times when I'm taking an issue more seriously.

You can usually tell from my tone of voice. I'm a little more playful and less sarcastic when I wanna leave a legit comment, and I disarm with emotes cause I KNOW people are gonna take offense to my naturally more abrasive tone.

But believe me dude, if I was trying to troll, I'd just post my "Steve and Chad" story which is guaranteed to make everyone here feel insecure and get the forum up in a tizzy.

Yes, I use controversy to draw attention to serious issues, but I know when to disarm dude.

All I did was make a passing remark, das all, that's why I called her by her first name rather than her username, to show friendliness and not "passive-aggressiveness."

The "canon" name is actually "Chara", not Frisk. there are reasons for it being canon but not Frisk but uhh spoilers. Let's just say if you got the the end of the game with the name Frisk some dialogue would be silly.

People always notice the bad and don't notice the good. When someone is as outspoken as you the total number of events just goes up so it looks more and more like people are "out to get you"

I actually jumped a little when I saw the clickbait article by Tech Crunch but I just want to make sure about YouTube Red:
- This service provides users the option to watch monetized YouTube videos for $9.99 a month without ads but monetized videos will not be removed off of YouTube's free service.
