I think the fact that Zelda U info is coming via Famitsu and not an announced direct is potentially telling of the current state of affairs for general directs.

We don't know that it's any actual info though. It may literally just be a mention of the progress, they're talking about other Zelda-related stuff in the interview, mainly Tri-Force Heroes. We only know there is passing conversation about Wii U content. Plus Famitsu has exclusive interviews and details about games all the time. I don't think we can use this as anything regarding the state of affairs.I think the fact that Zelda U info is coming via Famitsu and not an announced direct is potentially telling of the current state of affairs for general directs.
That's why I put emphasis on potentially. We don't know that it's any actual info though. Why should he? I'm proud of him for taking the high road, and insist he stays that course. If it happens, it happens, if not, oh well. So, can TheAnvil talk now that Roger basically said what was needed to be said?
It's pretty obvious nothing is coming this week.
For an item of which there are only 2000 units, that price isn't too shabby though still significant (€94.45 for me). Considering the tendency is for it to get more expansive, I'd recommend to get it as soon as possible. So, guys. I am probably gonna buy this 'First 4 Figures' Tanooki Mario Statue (the regular version), 15 Inches tall, limited to 2000 in the world.
This one.
Would you guys say that 890 Swedish Kronor is a good deal for a brand new one of these? I am unsure.
Thanks for replying to my price questions all the time, Frosty. XD I bought it now, thanks to you, and I am sure it will look nice in my collection. For an item of which there are only 2000 units, that price isn't too shabby though still significant (€94.45 for me). Then that would mean that Reggie's influence also spreads to Australia since its still full price hereEh, I do like Splaoon, its biggest problems is its very slim content, and that you need wi-fi to fully get the true experience of it.
Too bad the game is sold at its highest price in the US, while it's as the same price as a 3DS game in Europe.
Looks like another proof of Reggie abusing of his charisma to justify NoA's b******* choices...
I have a little less faith in it than I did before based on something I heard but I'm still airing roughly on #teamprobablyreal. It's about 55/45. We'll see.So, can TheAnvil talk now that Roger basically said what was needed to be said?

Don't forget we still have the 23rd. Still plenty of time for an announcement to prop up for everything to go into hyperdrive. So, can TheAnvil talk now that Roger basically said what was needed to be said?

Is that a kid...?To everyone hating on Splatoon:
Wait? Did Stealth and RogersBase get there info from different sources separate from each other?A couple of people were asking me (I forget who) if I still thought the Shovel Knight thing might happen and how I felt about it the other day. I never got around to replying due to being super busy, so here's my belated response to that.
I think overall it's more likely than not at this point. I'm personally more confident in it than any of the other stuff out there right now.
I do still trust my source a lot and would honestly be very surprised if there wasn't at least some truth to it. We also have YCG's questionable behaviour about the whole thing, like their complete non-denial of it at PAX. Then, there's Stealth, who apparently is claiming to have heard from his own sources that it's a thing.
The continuous 'mislistings' of the SK amiibo may lend something to the rumour, even if they don't necessarily mean a whole lot. It's just strange that they seem to pop up so often; even on Nintendo's own site. On that subject, with all of the different 'mistakes' on Nintendo's amiibo site, why did they only bother to fix the Shovel Knight one? Weird.
I'm honestly not bothered which way it goes, but it's hard to deny that the circumstances aren't at least suspicious.
I had heard that Stealth claimed to know the second character and that it wasn't related to Roger's rumor, but this is the first I'm hearing that it was Shovel Knight.Wait? Did Stealth and RogersBase get there info from different sources separate from each other?
I heard from someone that Stealth was claiming he had different sources... but now I'm not so sure.Wait? Did Stealth and RogersBase get there info from different sources separate from each other?
A paper mario for WiiU could be it, TTYD seriously released on the gc end of life and idem for pm64, spm and SS didn't, but the first 2 were really late in life of the console. Here's something I think would be interesting to discuss:
Since it's presumably late in the lifespans of both the Wii U and the 3DS, and the vast majority of big releases for them have already released, what do you think the biggest unannounced game for each system is that will happen before they die?
(Pikmin 4, TP: HD, and Pokemon Z are all officially unannounced and I will accept those as answers if you don't think any bigger games will be announced for Wii U or 3DS).
I think the 3DS will probably last a couple more years so gonna discard that. Here's something I think would be interesting to discuss:

Super Mario 3D World is as traditional as you could get and it is a 3D Mario game.Wii U has yet to get a traditional 3D Mario game, so I think that's likely).
"Traditional 3D Mario" as in the collecthatons like 64 and Galaxy.Super Mario 3D World is as traditional as you could get and it is a 3D Mario game.
I missed 13 pages in one day, did something big happen? You could just point me to the relevant page number if it's too much to summarize. So, can TheAnvil talk now that Roger basically said what was needed to be said?

Long story short: RogersBase revealed that the "cool news" he was teasing was a Splatoon Direct with a "Smashing" announcement. Everyone else that knew spreaded the rumor like it was about Smash and he was disappointed in them. He doesn't seem to be as sure of his source anymore but he's apparently very credible.I missed 13 pages in one day, did something big happen? Roger is losing faith that the information given to him is true/accurate, so he came forward that his source stated there would be a Splatoon direct on the 23rd, with a "Smashing surprise" at the end of it (assumed by everyone to be Inkling DLC for Smash). With the latest Splatoon update dropping without any prior direct, and the 23rd being only two days away with no announcement, believers of the rumor lost confidence, neutrals are leaning towards it being fake, and disbelievers are confident in its falsehood.I missed 13 pages in one day, did something big happen? I feel like mentioning, that they didn't so much "fix" the error as they did respond by breaking that section of the site. The amiibo compatibility thing in the games section still doesn't work for me.The continuous 'mislistings' of the SK amiibo may lend something to the rumour, even if they don't necessarily mean a whole lot. It's just strange that they seem to pop up so often; even on Nintendo's own site. I guess I'm confused why they even need to add the placeholder slot to begin with. It doesn't make any sense. It's not doing any good in the build right now, so why was it necessary to add ahead of time?Even if the rumors are all hogwash, we're likely getting characters or at least a reveal soon.
You just don't add a third slot outta nowhere unless you are planning on using it soon.
You should really play the original FAST if you haven't already.Well, today makes the 11th anniversary of F-Zero Climax for GBA, which was the last game that was made before the series went onto hiatus.
Sad that there's no evidence of a new game (not even fake rumors or "leaks" ever touch the series with a 10-foot pole)
Hopefully the upcoming Fast Racing Neo will help fill the hole.
