That's Smash for me. Something as harmless as a character addition is a childish "excuse" to boycott a game.

Take me for example: I can't give a rat's ass over the Naruto series but that hasn't stopped me from maining him in Super Smash Flash 2.

The character's moveset speaks louder than the character itself when it comes to fighting games.

A big thing against your idea is that people people still wish the character was playable and the salt of it activating a different character hurts. If you want amiibo compatible with smash bros they probably have to be playable characters. If you want other amiibo reps, it would probably have to be its own line.

Personally, while I think amiibo of other things in smash would be cool, paying 13$ for every assist trophy/cameo in the game would get prohibitively expensive, and probably not popular enough to actually sell.

Seems like everyone's having dreams about these leaks lately... myself included :D

I had a dream last night that Shovel Knight DLC released and I was playing around with him. He was cool in that, like Mega Man, they made sure his jumping and falling physics felt identical to his own game, but his moveset was disgracefully uninspired. I remember the better part of my dream focused on how stupid his recovery was - he just spun around in circles while jumping no higher than his second jump, like it was supposed to be some kind of drill move that doesn't actually exist in his game.

Only other review I've looked at was IGN's, which was actually a pretty good one to read through (They gave an 8.5). The problem they addressed that I also had a problem with was communication online. While the icons help, I feel like a way to ping areas where an item can be placed would really help. While I know the 3DS is capable of voice chat (Pokemon X and Y had it), I wouldn't like it for this game, just because of how bad it might come out online.

Hopefully I'll pick up Triforce Heroes someday, it was really fun from the demo I played.

MGSV is good but predictable and over praised,neither splatoon/bloodborne is compared to the titans called The Wicher 3 and Fallout 4.
Uncharted 4 will be hyped as **** even being another sony movie productions and halo 5 doesn't stand a chance even with huge following.

The goty this year will be between MGSV,The Witcher 3,Fallout 4 and Uncharted 4.

Discount Indiana Jones Uncharted 4 doesn't release until March 2016.

I've had ideas for games rattling around in my head for years, but Undertale has kinda lit a fire under me to actually start working on stuff for one. But it won't be something that's put out in a week hahaha

I'll love Inklings for Smash but I'm not really hard into Splatoon.

That's not being contrarian, that's just my honest opinion. What do you have any me to say:

"It looks fine and decent but it never clicked with me" is my best comment.

I'm gonna say it's perfect or a great game but neither that it sucks. It's a perfectly made game for the people who will enjoy it but I'm not gonna praise a game to the high heavens that what I played wasn't what I liked. Same reason with Dark Souls, those are all fine games but they aren't something I'm gonna praise because everyone else enjoys it

I wouldn't even call it "negative". I mean honestly, apart from CroonerMike's comment (which judging by the words chosen could've very much been a joke), all I saw was "I didn't care for Splatoon, and here's my reasons why.", and that's okay. That's not being negative, nor salty at all. It's just opinions.

I stated in the post that you quoted that not everyone is going to like Splatoon and I think thats fine. Sorry that I didnt tag you, but like I said the way you said that you would throw your game away because of one character seems a bit too much.
