I'm sorry but Link's Awakening is probably my least favorite Zelda game...
...Of the ones I've actually had the patience to beat. And notice that I didn't say "most hated".
Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks are currently collecting dust on my shelf and I don't ever intend to change that.

Spirit Tracks is better than Awakening imo.

They're all worth one play through at least though.

No way! IMO, Link's Awakening is the best handheld Zelda game! Spirit Tracks was actually the one I liked the least -- I didn't even bother to finish it.

No way! IMO, Link's Awakening is the best handheld Zelda game! Spirit Tracks was actually the one I liked the least -- I didn't even bother to finish it.

I just can't seem to like the old GB Zelda games.

They just feel so primitive and unpolished.

Regardless, Spirit Tracks was really fun for me barring the dumb reindeer people.

Never owned it myself.

Regardless the Oracle games are similar enough mechanic wise.

I bought 100% of the DLC from the new wave.
I think I put those costumes to good use.

I'm glad I gave my 3DS copy away. Not having to pay 25% more for each DLC wave just to get it on the handheld version makes it a lot easier to get it all.

Also, Pirate Ship is <3.

Especially since it's the "Guest Battle" song, and Shovel Knight would be a guest in the game. Would just make sense. Then maybe also a Regular medley and an Arranged Medley. (although if Hyper Camelot starts playing I will lose my **** because that is the most 90s Cartoon theme song ever and it's hilarious and I love it)

Something I really like with this update is that with series that already had music playing on stages like Golden Sun and Wonderful 101 and Rhythm Heaven have no in game barriers to overcome anymore.

Link's Awakening is tied with Majora's Mask for my favorite Zelda game. Both are pretty amazing, imo. Neither feel truly outdated to me, and I love the original versions too. Albeit, I haven't played MM3D yet.

I thought it was a strange, tedious version of Ocarina of Time with masks.

I have zero interest in shovel knight. I play nintendo games for 20 years. I have no connection to shovel knight. Where are my wolf, king k. rool and isaac? If the 3 slots are all for 3rd party characters, like pushdustin believes, i would be really disappointed. I cant believe it lucas is in and wolf not. Sakurai said he is aiming to make the best character fighting game in the world. Of course its impossible he can make everyone happy. But making wolf and king k. rool playable would make so many people happy. He has to know this. I am optimistic right now. I trust sakurai and his words. I am just a little bit more scared the more time flies.

Dont get me wrong sakurai has done a really great job. He is amazing. Im just hoping he takes the chance with dlc and aims with dlc even more to make the best character fighting game in the world.

I hope we get four characters - King K. Rool, Wolf, Shovel Knight, and either Inkling or Isaac.
Isaac is probably the better choice seeing as this is probably it for him, while Inklings will never die.
EDIT: Correction, I'm expecting 4 characters, I'm hoping these specific choices though.
