Well to be fair, they are in the area, and they were alot of trophies/characters. Doing it on a cell phone would be much harder due to paperwork, and etc.

I would actually buy a Quote costume, and I haven't bought any Mii costumes yet, nor am I planning to.
To be fair, Platinum is in Japan whereas Wayforward is in America.
As if Shantae would require any less paperwork than that. One character or not, it's still a third party trophy, in the event this actually meant something.

It's just a couple of game devs in the same photo. It's clearly in a convention hall, which is where two unconnected game devs are most likely to be at the same time.
It's not completely owned by Nintendo, it's the same situation as Pokemon, they have to get permission from them to use assets from their game.
Also Yacht Club has been very vocal about wanting people to vote for other characters in the ballot, whereas Wayforward constantly retweets and reminds people about voting for Shantae in the ballot; like they're trying to hoard the votes instead of telling their fans to go vote for other characters they love.

It definitely looks like a convention hall, but the location was tagged as being in the city where Wayforward's office is (I think). Not sure if that means anything but it could just be an old photo.
I had always assumed that Shantae was the more popular of the two in the Smash fanbase. At least the Shantae fans seem more vocal, anyway. In terms of sales SK is probably more popular.
That was my example too.
Artix from Adventure World Quest, which makes no sense at all considering it's never appeared on a Nintendo console. And Meat Boy, for the same reason.
Lol, the Meat Boy devs a long while back tried to "blackmail" Nintendo into putting Meat Boy in Smash by saying, they will develop for the Wii u only if Meat Boy was put in Smash in some interview.
Shantae seems to be the more popular pick mostly due to "history" with Nintendo, while SK is fairly young and only has one multiplat title under his belt.
This.All of this.Twitter is probably gonnna be the last and i mean last place well see a character revealed.Especially on a another company twitter account.Were better off either waiting for an annoucement from Nintendo or just ignoring the rumor until something important happens.Or both you know both is great
