If I'm not mistaken @Yoshi-Thomas has never believed the SK leak.

So I don't really believe this new leak either. All it predicted was the return of the Pirate Ship stage, which was a popular request. It also has the red flags of any other text leak, speaking in detail about what Sakurai wants and his exact thought process.

EDIT: I would love Bomberman so much though.

Looking at Smash 64, the thing that dated it to me wasn't the graphics, it was the Yoshi's Story stage. I know the Yoshi series was just starting out and it made sense at the time (they based the Star fox one off it's most recent satge and that worked out fine for them) but if there's a Yoshi game that stands out awkwardly, it's Yoshi's story. (lso tilt&tumble/Universal Gravitation but that's another story)

Any other similar things that you feel dates certain Smash games outside of technical ones?

I can't see Bomberman using a rocket launcher.

Rocket Bomb is actually a thing in the Bomberman series.

So are remote bombs (C4), and Bomb toss (which does result in a bounce in some games), and even a jet pack that launches him in the air but he is not able to act out of.

It would be a really weird move set for him, though, and I don't think Sakurai would try to shoe-horn in Snake's abilities as it would be a less interesting Bomberman.

Bomberman actually has a REALLY wide variety of possible moves. His move set would obviously consist almost entirely of bomb usage, but he has so many types of bombs. Elemental bombs (water, ice, electricity), bombs of different sizes, remote bombs, mine bombs, tracer bombs, RC bomb, homing bomb, etc.

As long term project for have more life and hype for the game when they stop to develop

Just finished reading the Secret Wars tie-in Ghost Racers.

Definitely one of the better comics in the Battleworld books, with a good ending as well.

But we've also got to remember that Smash suffers pretty badly from leaks. If this Wolf/K.Rool/Bomberman leak turns out to be legit then there wouldn't be a single part of Smash that hasn't had a leak aside from Mewtwo's original reveal.

Bowser's appearance in Melee is a pretty blatant example. Besides the questionable quality of the model itself, it's based on Super Mario 64/N64 Mario Party Bowser, and looks nothing like Bowser from post-N64, which in turn makes Melee Bowser look even worse/more dated.

I probably worded tit poorly, but:
The main roster wasn't free of leaks (ESRB, and some people will argue Gematsu too).
Nothing from Wave 1 was leaked before Nintendo announced it.
Part of DLC wave 2 was leaked by datamining (Ryu/Roy and stages).
Wave 3 was already fully known (at E3) so I guess you could count that too.

If the Wolf/K. Rool/Bomberman leak was true, then part of Wave 4 was leaked (Pirate Ship), and assumingly wave 5 (the characters).

It kinda what I meant but it is true, most of Smash 4 hasn't got leaked aside from ESRB, Royucus and small other stuff like Smash Tour and Master/Crazy Orders.

Outside of that everything was fine, even if count Sal's characters, & weren't even leaked at any point.
That's why I said Street Fighter V was leaked more than Smash 4 due to Capcom can't nothing underwraps but Nintendo will straight make sure nothing gets out. We have to hope for a guy at the ESRB and data mining for anything to be spoiled

A new Mii fighter type would be interesting. If they release a mage type, they open up options for more Mii costumes. I can't imagine Ashley being used for any of the current Mii fighters.
