reimu and marisa are from touhou. it gets two because it's just massive and old and it can't even really be said to have a single protagonist.
alien hominid is from alien hominid. it's a run and gun game by the behemoth; they later made castle crashers and battleblock theater
madotsuki is from yume nikki (dream diary). it's... really difficult to describe. it's an rpg maker game, but not an rpg. it's sort of like a proto-"walking simulator"? except not really. idk.
lemeza is from la-mulana. it's a metroidvania game with crazy difficult puzzles.
naija is from aquaria. it's like ecco as a metroidvania. one of its two devs later made spelunky.
dust is from dust: an elysian tale. i think it's sort of like an action rpg metroidvania? not entirely sure. furries.
and cadence is from crypt of the necrodancer. it's a rhythm roguelike game. it's pretty amazing

marisa debuted in touhou 2
they actually even have as many in-game appearances as each other - marisa wasn't in 1, reimu wasn't in 12.8
(and marisa has more appearances in supplementary works. plus, she's almost always on the desktop icons)

The game can also crash during an auto save to where your whole saved game can be corrupted and deleted. And even with a patch, it might not fix the bad level design. All I know is that Giant Bomb crapped all over the game

That's right! If you thought Mario Maker wasn't tourney legal, wait until you see the Freddy Fazbear Diner Stage! At Randoms times throughout the match, each of the final night's crew will randomly jumpscare the battlefield. It takes over the whole screen and if you don't enter the konami code fast enough, you automatically lose a stock! Ain't that fun kids!? And just wait until Purple Guy pulls up in his van!
