There's 25 main Pokemon titles, with a 26th coming soon.

The letter Z is 26.

Zygarde is Z

Z has come to
Imo, the first 4 Gens had a "1, 2, and 3"" game lineup (Red, Blue, Green/Yellow; Silver, Gold, Crystal; Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald; etc). The only ones that didn't was basically Gen 5. So i personally think Gen 6 should and most likely will have "Pokemon Z" version be a thing.

I really wanted a third Sonic Storybook game.

I cannot say I've played the two I own, but not having at least a third in a series really irritates a sense of completion.
I agree, I expected a third one...and then...
Though I can't imagine a third story for them to base it off of either.
Oh well then.
Is this real? I could see it being fake because the "Pokemon Z" logo looks like a X/Y logo with the letter cropped and the logo recolored.

Is it Indie games?
No to indie games.

That's actually really cool.
Yeah, unlike Mario and the 3D Zelda games, without someone thinking long and hard on how to make a well-thought out dungeon layout with items, it's either going to be dull, or straight up ****.
So putting Zelda in the hands of fans is just not going to be a great idea.
I was thinking about what a Zelda indie game would look like (Post Zelda II).
If I were to make one I'd call it "Dungeon, Boss".
The dungeons would be randomly generated and the boss would be a random choice.

However, the main issue with that is the puzzling aspect. You would need to do a lot of work to ensure that you didn't make any unsolvable puzzles. The boss could be defeated in a number of ways (or at least by a sword and skillful dodging) in order to account for the random weapon grab in the dungeon. It'd be a mess and probably wouldn't feel cohesive without some major, major work done.

Another problem with a Metroid or Zelda maker is that those are not level based games. I suppose you could make dungeons for Zelda, but even that would be a much more complicated affair than a Mario level.
No need to rain on a fun idea, I know for fact its not likely, but its still fun to think about though right?

That's because it is.

It's just pointing out how the next game will be the 26th, just like the letter Z is. And while there's no official confirmation on it... Pokemon Z is likely gonna happen. Or at the very least some focus on Zygarde will happen.

Metroid would be near impossible. I'm not sure how it would even work, would people just create the entire game map?

Now Megaman Maker, that's an idea! I wonder why Capcom never thought of that?

Well if there's anything Binding of Isaac has taught me, it's that it is possible.

They did have fun thinking about it, and now that was their verdict.
All in all, it just wouldn't work. Designing Zelda isn't nearly as simple as Mario.
I mean, Mario Maker was originally something Nintendo devs were actually going to use to actually make Mario games.
So yeah...

I'm not commenting on Metroid though, there's just no way that could even be feasible.

Pokemon Prism was supposed to be done this month last I heard.

Wonder how that turned out.

There are plenty of Zelda inspired indie games out there. Some of them are pretty good, and shameless!

To be fair, that comes off as "WHY DON'T THEY AGREE WITH ME?!?!"
But really do they need to re-rate the same character 3 times.Do they need to tell people there dumb and wrong for likling this character.Do they have to be bias to one character and not the other(really the K rool and inkling thing is )?It just seems "we all like theses characters and there so likely lets just keep talking about them."
And let me remind you.

You guys are no different than the circle jerk there.

You just don't see it because "What? I'd never be in a circle jerk."
I agree.I personally probably been in a circle-jerk without knowing it and this thread is bias to there characters and have shut down people for supproting characters they like.(Anna,Geno, bayonetta)Were no different kinda hope that changes one day

Now Megaman Maker, that's an idea! I wonder why Capcom never thought of that?

...I just made myself sad.
Capcom already did something similar with Mega Man: Powered Up's Construction mode. Too bad relatively few people played it since it was on PSP back in 2006.

Why was this canceled again? This looks pretty great, imo.

I bought a PSP almost entirely for those two Megaman games, the Castlevania Rondo of Blood remake, Metal Gear, and Final Fantasy and never actually played the thing. I should really get to that one of these days.

Is Yoshi playable in the SMB and SMB3 themes or is he only avaible in the SMW and NSMB themes?

Capcom didn't really know where to take the franchise and pulled the plug on EVERYTHING.

Even the relatively safe Legends 3.
Geezus... Even though I didn't grow up on the games, I did played MM2 and thought it was great, and saw Legends in action, I loved Tron Bonne as a character, and would have liked a Legends 3. But, oh well. Guess it will never happen now.

Did Sakurai ever comment on the Ice Climbers after 8-Player Smash was announced?

Because I recall both times Sakurai has talked about the Ice Climbers getting cut pre-dating the announcement of 8-Player Smash. If I recall correctly, the first was not long after the game's debut trailer (where he said in an interview that the team was having trouble implementing them), and the second was after the Japanese release of the 3DS version.

If this is the case, it makes sense to only talk about the 3DS issues and ignore the theoretical Wii U ones. If I'm wrong about the timing, I'd guess that if there were problems with the Ice Climbers involving 8-Player Smash, they might've kept silent about it to protect the Wii U's image.

I know :/. This drought feels like its been going on forever. I personally hope that we'll get any indication of DLC after the initial six slots from the games code. That would get me hyped more than anything :D.

I don't think there was an official reason given, however it was Inafune's passion project. It wasn't really shocking that it was cancelled for "various reasons" after he left the company.

It's kinda weird that they went with the Propeller Suit. That was more the main powerup of New Super Mario Bros Wii. New Super Mario Bros U had the Flying Squirrel Suit. The Propeller Suit was in both games, but it was very rare in U.

The Propeller Suit does stand out a lot more than the Flying Squirrel, so I guess that's probably why.

Well, that's a damn shame. I've always wanted to see a 2.5D Classic Megaman and that looks great. And "Bad Box art Megaman" just killed me so hard.

I'm glad they went with the Propeller, I never liked the Flying Squrrel power up and I feel the Propeller does the job better.
