amazing. You know, I've always wondered what a 3D Mario Maker would be like....
Yeah, something like that. You mean one with Super Mario 64, Sunshine, Galaxy, and 3D World graphical styles?
inb4 Disney buys Nintendo and claims ownership of the idea.>Squid Wars
>Splatoon
Well, this is uh.... interesting.
Not even a year after Splatoon's release and we already have a clone

Overreact how?I love seeing you guys overreact because of a custom level
It's not like they copied the game and released it as their own at full price or anything, it's just a level that is clearly supposed to be a reference, nothing more
How is it "scummy"?Overreact how?
Calling a scummy move scummy?
None of us are threatening anyone or taking serious action.
If you're allowed to complain than so are we.
I feel like it wasn't really a necessary move to make, cause it just seems like they are ripping off Nintendo's recent success. How is it "scummy"?
"Oh no, they are refferencing a Nintendo game! Shame on them!"
The Kinect is more of its own thing tho, Nintendo doesn't own motiocontrolsI feel like it wasn't really a necessary move to make, cause it just seems like they are ripping off Nintendo's recent success.
With that logic, the Kinect and the Playstation Move shouldn't be seen as ripoffs of the Wiimote and just a "reference" to it instead.
...Yeah I call bullcrap on that. The Move, maybe I could say it's a clone. But the Kinect is not a Wiimote ripoff. Oh sure, it's motion controls, but last time I checked Nintendo doesn't own that concept. Heck, motion controls as an idea has been around for a long time, look at the Power Glove.I feel like it wasn't really a necessary move to make, cause it just seems like they are ripping off Nintendo's recent success.

I understand, again, it was just my opinion. It doesn't help the wifi connection gimmick was something both Xbox and Playstation turned down by the person with the original idea that was later presented to Nintendo, in which that accepted it, and made the Wii. Then right after the Wii was successful, they happen to make something that was based on the same technology, when it was at first not accepted by said companies before Nintendo made money off of it.The Kinect is more of its own thing tho, Nintendo doesn't own movement controls
The Playstation Move is a product, that Sony charged for it
Disney is not charging anything with a custom level, it's free
Sorry for using that....Yeah I call bullcrap on that. The Move, maybe I could say it's a clone. But the Kinect is not a Wiimote ripoff. And with that, I can't call it "ripping them off". It's not like they're selling it as its own original product. It's just a level. Nothing more, nothing less.
Thing is that there's a difference in being a response to something than a blatant ripoff.Sorry for using that.
I was only using the Kinect for being a product made in direct response to the Wii being made.
You're right, I wasn't trying to make any negative claims.
I understand. I never had a Xbox, so I didn't know how the Kinect was as a product. But thanks for the clarification.Thing is that there's a difference in being a response to something than a blatant ripoff.
Kinect, despite whether it's good or bad, is something unique and when it was good, it was damn good.
Compare it to the Move which wasn't innovative at all and brought nothing new to the table.
Aside from Wonderbook, which I don't wanna talk about that BS
I came from near future,it won't happen, like checkpoints, but we got some neat costumesI'd love theme packs for other Nintendo franchises as future DLC in Mario Maker. Can you imagine a pack that gave you Metroid or Zelda themed backgrounds and enemies?
People just like whatever they like. It isn't strange you like what you like, you have a preference, other people have theirs. More than not, school students tend to always try to "fit in" so they can act like they are in a "popular group" but it doesn't mean anything, just focus on the stuff you care about, and let them do what they seem to think is fun to them. If they judge, tough **** from them.Just gotta ask a question. And i'm asking you guys seeing as how 95% of you are older than me and can give go advice when asked. Now i hate when someone gives me pity because i dont want people giving me any so dont try take it that way.I just wanna know is it strange for a 15 year old to be more focused on the newest smash character and how there going to buy the new amiibo than girls and sports.Like they dont care more about the games but that's just were there mind is at.Just lately especially this school week been feeling a bit more off an outcast than usual yow know.Like what i care about isn't the normal thing that even my friends find it strange and it's not like i tried to get into what there into but i just find it starnge how people can just repeat the same vine jokes and spongebob jokes all day for 8(sometimes 9) hours and still find it funny. Is there something wrong with that?
I don't think many here are over reacting or anything. The general reception is that it's almost shockingly blatant and a bit contemptible, but it's not like we're up in arms and calling for it to be destroyed or anything. I personally think it's kind of funny. How is it "scummy"?
"Oh no, they are refferencing a Nintendo game! Shame on them!"
I thought we couldn't be sarcastic on this thread. How is it "scummy"?

Plenty of time for girls, sports, and everything else. At 15 you're still finding out who you are... my best advice is to have fun and not worry about if what you're doing is "right" or "normal."Just gotta ask a question. And i'm asking you guys seeing as how 95% of you are older than me and can give go advice when asked. Now i hate when someone gives me pity because i dont want people giving me any so dont try take it that way.I just wanna know is it strange for a 15 year old to be more focused on the newest smash character and how there going to buy the new amiibo than girls and sports.Like they dont care more about the games but that's just were there mind is at.Just lately especially this school week been feeling a bit more off an outcast than usual you know.Like what i care about isn't the normal thing that even my friends find it strange and it's not like i haven't tried to get into what there into but i just find it strange how people can just repeat the same vine jokes and spongebob jokes all day for 8(sometimes 9) hours and still find it funny. Is there something wrong with that?

Seeing how you can predict the future VaanRose.
I care about Smash and Sports and I'm almost 22. Just live your life.Just gotta ask a question.
It's not sarcasm that got you into trouble.I thought we couldn't be sarcastic on this thread.
Well I was banned for a week.Really?
You can't let that go, really?
There's a dating scene?I care about Smash and Sports and I'm almost 22. Just live your life.
As for girls, worry about getting a job first before dealing with girls.
They are very expensive and is probably my reason for not being in the dating scene
This attitude is what got you in trouble in the first place.Well I was banned for a week.
Please don't kill me, Swamp.
Besides, it's hard to compete agaisnt top level playersThere's a dating scene?
That explains why I can't get one. There's no local scene where I live.
There's a scene but to find a girl with any of the interests you have is hard and you'll just end up with someone who is the complete opposite of you. There's a dating scene?

Anyways, there is nothing wrong with that, society has standards for what is "normal"
Do what makes you happy, because you should focus on pleasing yourself before doing it to others
If they don't like it, too bad for them
Of course, if what makes you happy onvolves hurting others, physically or emotionally, then you shouldn't do it

Besides, Smash characters are awesome even when you're on the other side of 30.
Thanks.Like i said i hate asking for pity just kinda needed some advice/an answer you know.Long story short lost a friend because some guy from school toke a picture of me buying an amiibo and just needed some advice. So thanks actually made me feel a lot better about myself and the whole situation. You guys are greatI care about Smash and Sports and I'm almost 22.
