I get 7 frames in galaxy on LAN and 7+ with euros, 4+ with Japanese, and 5+ with South Americans

If my rule is implemented, I would take every non north american to the santa clara server; if they lag in the santa clara server, then they will have to be DQed. XD
that's harsh, unfortunately i get 10-11 frames on galaxy and i am guessing way more on the santa clara server, but i do get around 7-8 frames with jaime.

If you can get enough euro people to join, Ill make a Euro only bracket. Otherwise Europeans will be on there which means that you will probably have to face at least one of them.

List of Europeans So far:
1.Mahie
2. Dandan

It's fine, don't make an euro only bracket, we all perfectly know each other.

Couple people still need to put up their AIM's. Although if Malva and boom wanna be exempt from that, far be it from me to say otherwise ;)

If anyone is not fine with me having this as the bracket, the tournament starts today.

you would be paired with non North-American people <_<

Edit, tournament starts, if Boomfan really does not want to play, someone else can replace him (FREE BYE Ololol)

Not trying to naysay you, boom, but you would almost certainly not be playing anyone from outside North america, and even if you did you could make them play on-server, where they'd get mad delay and you (presuming you cuold find a close server) would not.

edit: I beat Peek 3-1. Didn't want to double post.

guess I'll have to play battlecow next time he left early

I'm going to make him play in a server where I have less frames than him since he can't p2p

Rather than have a double bye just reorganize it so that they are for Fireblaster and I. Better to just do it now while the bracket is still mostly unplayed.

Perfectly reasonable, I'm totally up for that. Sorry I had to leave early- circumstances beyond my control.

Nvm tired of waiting not playing in the tourney anymore

I should stick with Japanese tourneys; they are always done in one night

o_O

um... One night seems kinda fast. Those Japanese sure know their business. Sorry again, Malva, but since no one else has even done their first match, I don't think I can be blamed for not having my second done. If smashboards hadn't been down for so long today, or if I had known your AIM, maybe I could've contacted you sooner and we could've finished it today.

:/

is it that bad, koro? people will get theirs done. If you want a one-day tourney, it won't happen. If you want a two week tourney, with these people it will. roll with this, is my advice.

one day tourneys are easy

Japanese do them at night on the weekend. Sometimes they start at 10pm (they go on after 12am, but it's basically "one day")

Whoever shows up shows, and the bracket is made right before it starts the same night

doing tournaments over weeks and months is almost as ******** as online kids who think online ssb is true ssb skill.

we could have like a tourney every two weeks or once a month, and everyone will know the day and time and decide if they wanna show up or not. usually the japanese don't even post saying they will enter until the last moment, after they know they will be able to play

doing tournaments all at once will increase the fun and decrease the frustration of finding people or having an opponent that can't play when you can

So is this tourney still happening, or is it cancelled? I'll do my match tomorrow (provided dandan can)... can't tonight though (may have to leave at anytime... and in the middle of a match would not be ideal...).

i believe though that this, being a 16 man bracket, everybody uses aim and no real random players would mean everything will get done.

I guess we'll see if this one takes three months or doesn't finish. I suspect it'll turn out allright. I really don't see why you guys are in such a hurry, or why a tournament that takes a couple weeks is such a bad thing.

Bleh, you should've told us you were going to redo it BEFORE I played my first match. I liked being in the third round :(

Koro... seeing as we're against each other (Yoshi vs a Yoshi main... you better not go blue on me...), my availability is... well... limited for this week. I can play Wednesday (tomorrow) from 12 to 4 pm pacific (3 to 7 eastern), then... well, I work until 9:30 Wed/Thu, and Friday I'm heading to a mainland brawl tournament (Phoenix 2, which hopefully will have 64...). So... if those times don't work for you (or I guess that time), we'll have to wait until next week.
