Freaking 49ers. Why do they pass 37 times and run the ball 18 times (100+ yards)?? That's why they lost. And cause no Patrick Willis.

I really, really hate Tebow. Yeah he was clutch, but they had no business winning that game. God decided to smite Marion Barber for whatever reason.

made the playoffs in all 3 of my fantasy leagues.

best free agent pickup- victor cruz
My best free agent pickups this season:

49ers Defense and tim tebow. Tebows been my backup, but he did well the week I started him, and is pretty consistent from a fantasy standpoint. He might be getting the start next pending the progress of big bens recovery

Lol the Broncos come through again. See, if Tebow could just channel that fourth quarter mentality throughout all three quarters than maybe their games would not be so nerve wracking. A victory is still a victory and I enjoy seeing this team come together and do what seems impossible.

Biggest test of all is next week.

Also I realized something yesterday.

If Broncos indeed win the division, and the ravens don't screw up, I'm facing tim tebow first round of the playoffs.

And that is why i said yesterday-start someone else for three quarters, then put tebow in the 4th.same result.

maybe not, maybe it takes tebow 45 minutes to hit his stride? either way the shocking thing throughout this run isn't even his night and day play between early and late in the game, it's the ridiculous things the bronco's are consistently getting to bounce their way that ALLOW him to only play well for a fourth of the game. someone said this week would be their biggest test, I think this week is new england's biggest test. if they can beat jesus then an 18-0 packers should seem pretty beatable.

Lol, the problem is that Tebow goes into hurry up late in the 4th which seems to work for him. Through the first 3 quarters...it's just option, run, hike from the center...no shotgun, etc. Tebow just plays well in a fast pace offense.

I do hear that a lot...it'd be cool to see him play at a higher level throughout the entire game but as I said, marion barber and 59 yard field goals are what really made my jaw hit the floor yesterday. this **** isn't supposed to happen on a weekly basis...

Also, I forgot to mention. On the other hand, defenses tend to go into prevent vs Tebow (or in general any QB) in the last 5 minutes when the same formula has been working for 55 minutes. That I don't know about either.

If NE plays the 4th quarter like they have against the Colts and the Redskins to a lesser degree, they better enter that quarter with 45+ points against Tebow. Curious to see how Denver handles Gronk and all of those weapons Tom Brady will most likely be using.

My dad bought tickets for the Monday Night Game tonight. Say what you want, but the Seahawks have one of the best records on MNF ;).

And if you think the stadium is crazy loud and energetic when you watch on TV, the atmosphere at the games are unreal and like nothing else I've been to. The NFC Championship game was louder than a concert that is usually under a closed roof. (And Seahawks stadium is open)

And although there is bleak bleak hope, we have tie breaker over the Giants and can gain it over the Bears next week. So even though I hate the Cowboys, hopefully they win the division in the end so that the Seahawks can have tiebreaker over 2 teams. The scenario that pans out is Seahawks getting the 6th seed and going @ San Fran, who we could have beaten week 1. Man, the NFL will be so mad if we make it back into the playoffs.

Shall be a fun and cold night, and I fully expect to lose my voice like every other game I've been to :)

All i care about atm is that marshawn lynch has a good night and steven jackson doesn't. Those are the two players left in the first week of my fantasy playoff matchup, and im 10 points behind right now.

seahawks are one of my favorite nfc teams(def. my favorite in that division) but they aren't making the playoffs this year. Start strong next year and they got this.

Somehow seeing the slow mo replay of Marshawn Lynch's 16 yard TD run with Skittles showering him from above at the end made me chuckle. Don't need to pay da man just feed da man. Beast Mode is fueled by the power of the rainbow. Who knew?

Starphoenix: Locally it's widely known that its a tradition that Beastmode has done since High School days. His mom would give him a bag of skittles in a game if he scored a touchdown. So the same applies for the NFL games too :D.

Also, GTFO. Qwest Field for the loudest :). Did you guys hear the "REFS YOU SUCK" chant on TV if anyone watched it? The whole stadium was chanting it on the extra point after it took the Rams 7 times on from the 1 to get in. That was the same Ref or group of refs that reffed the Superbowl we lost. We gave them a lot of crap lol.

Glad my dad bought those tickets, it was awesome :D Seahawks are still undefeated when I'm at the game too since Qwest/CenturyLink

GTFO with the NFC West trash. If the Seahawks or Cardinals were in the NFC East, we'd be 1 game out of the division lead.. and went 2-2 with the NFC East and if we didn't choke the Redskins game away, 3-1!

And tell me what division has been to the second-most Superbowls since 2000? Ah, NFC West :)

Bleak hopes are Bleak hopes. But we've seen crazier things happen. And I'd feel very comfortable going back to San Francisco for a playoff game. But obviously the Seahawks just need to win out and see what happens. I like what I see, you can see our teams identity forming. Beastmode is INSANE. 3 starters are out of that O-Line and the line is shuffled, and he still gives you that type of production. (And not just vs the Rams -- vs good defensive teams, like the Ravens, etc) I feel our style is a worse Green Bay offense. Sidney Rice is too hurt to be a star, but if you have Baldwin, Obamanu, Mike Williams, Golden Tate, and Sidney Rice all contributing consistently, someone should be getting open. And beastmode can set that up or be set up by the pass. Really strong defense too a lot of the year (barring the Redskins collapse)

NFC East :troll:

Hell, outside of Green Bay, the NFC North is falling apart. Lions sucking for whatever reason. Bears sucking due to injuries. Panthers been sucking.

Vikings are nfc north. Panthers are nfc south.

Also I think seattle will pull it together in the next couple years. Although I do NOT think Jackson is the QB of the future there.

So.. How many games out of the NFC East would the Seahawks and Cards be if they were in the NFC East? :p.

Okay, but that is just regular season trash. Come the playoffs, the NFC West gets it done. (Minus the Superbowl except for Kurt Warner with the Rams) Ask the Saints how bad the NFC West is after they came to a 7-9 team they had already beaten and lost to a QB with practically a robotic arm because he had a full arm cast on.

And I dunno man, 49ers are pretty legit. Assuming they're healthy and if they play GB in the playoffs, I expect that to be a tight game. But I would want GB to get the 19-0 and Aaron Rodgers would go clutch.

To be honest, I'd be totally for the Seahawks getting Peyton Manning if the Colts decide he is too much money to keep playing for a few years at an elite level when Andrew Luck is NFL ready right now. So they could be looking to trade him, and I wouldn't mind testing out Peyton Manning. But with the philosophy Pete Carroll and co use, I don't think they want old people around. (IE, Hasselbeck, Trufant probably gonna get the boot after this season, etc) I wouldn't be against trading up for a higher pick either. It seems clear Whitehursts try is done, and with 2 years on Tavaris, they are clearly just taking a chance on him to see if it was the Vikings having no faith in him or a lack of ability. And at time he shows flashes, but I agree he isn't the long term option. Seahawks haven't even drafted a good QB in awhile. Hasselbeck was brought over with Holmgren from Green Bay.

@Mav: I agree, the next couple of years look exciting as a Seahawks fan. That defense is young and aggressive. One of the best young safety tandems in the league. Got rid of that extra baggage of Aaron Curry never panning out. KJ Wright being a beast. Hawthorne taking over for Tatupu at a higher level, which I didn't think would happen. And do we REALLY need to even mention Red Bryant's name? That man deserves a pro bowl. Run stuffer, gets pressure on the QB, and has blocked 3 kicks this year? Guy is a beast. We really just need a second elite pass rusher to go with Chris Clemons, and that's a pretty beastly defense if Brandon Browner and Sherman step it up. Sherman is the 3rd string CB though too forced to play, so it'll be interesting to see where he stands after the year ends.

Not to mention, Beastmode is only 24 or 25. Still got a good 4-5 years if he follows the RB trend. So I'd want us to be a contender within 2-3.

SP or Boone where all we smoke is christmas trees.
It was seriously a crime they made the playoffs last year with 7 wins. You keep boasting that like it's a good thing tho. What, are you proud of that bull****? Teams that deserved a playoff spot like the Bucs had 10 wins and came from a much harder division. It's like a free ticket to the playoffs for being the best of the worst.

And big deal you guys beat the Saints last year. They had to travel to one of the hardest places to play during the playoffs, even though they had 3 more wins while the Seahawks barely got in by beating the Rams (for the division) in week 17. Even the Rams (2-11) beat the Saints (10-3) this year and look at who's going to the playoffs. It's called any given sunday or the Saints just take the week off any time they see anyone from the nfc west on the schedule. LOL

Don't get it twisted, Saints > NFC West

edit: and I hope you're not talking about Matt Hasselbeck. As in, the starting qb for the Titans this year.

Saints > NFC West > NFC East. Don't think that just because the NFC West is bad doesn't mean the NFC East isn't WORSE. My Rams may be dragging it down a bit, but don't ignore the fact that we actually have a good team this year in the 49ers, and the Seahawks/Cards are coming around, both only one game outta .500 win%. Eagles are down in the dirt, Andy Reid blindly reaching for a sandwich. Cowboys are having difficulty pulling out wins anymore, and the Giants are the only team on solid ground, and THEY aren't even that special yet, they're just the only team in that division playing smart football. Saints right now are just a cut above both divisions atm, gonna be interesting playoffs this year with both them and the Packers :).

Seahawks are gonna be DISGUSTINGLY good these next few years. I'm legit afraid of that defense growing up. Them along with the 49ers already decent defense, just imagine if the Rams actually had a healthy offense to go against those two teams? Those are gonna be some INTENSE games. Glad to see the NFC West recovering nicely!

And the NFC West last year with the losing record playoffs is just a random glitch in the system, stuff like this won't happen all the time, and the system should be changed on the spot if it ever happens again. 9-7 should be the worst a division leader can be to get to the playoffs (oddly enough, the record the Cards had when they went to the Super Bowl and lost to Head and Shoulders).
