So just for clarity sake, where are we finding the text "no unannounced fighters will be revealed"?

Reagrdless, I'm going to go with "I don't full trust the wording" camp on this one. Nintendo has said at multiple E3s that it's only going to focus on game releasing this year, but then drops Metroid Prime 4 announcements and whatnot. It's not that they are lying, per se, but I think they are misleading us so they can surprise us.

But let's be honest..there can't be that much of a surprise here. It's a 45 minute long direct. Even if Terry is more complicated than Ryu and Hero combined, it can't take more than 30 minutes to explain all of that (along with the stage and spirits). We have to be getting something else.

Maybe free Echoes (if they don't count as "Unrevealed fighters"), stage DLC, a new mode, perhaps an official tournament.
Could be anything, really.
I'm not gonna bank on Nintendo lying about not revealing a new fighter.

An echo fighter is still a fighter, and if it hasn't been revealed yet I see no reason for them to happen.

Anyway, I just love how we went from a potential video leak, to hype for the longest Smash presentation ever, to trying to figure out what the **** is in that video if there's no new character anouncements.

That honestly feels fishy to me. I doubt Sakurai will just explain Terry, show Mii Costumes, and all that. Expect the worst to happen, coz there's a possibility we'll get Grinch 2: Nintendo Strikes Back.

The chance of Nintendo lying about not revealing any new fighters is less than 1%.

Wasn't this a similar idea when Sakurai said something along the lines of not having too many new characters on the initial release?

Because of this, I'm gonna take it at face value. Nothing gained nothing lost, but I get to enjoy Terry Bogard and I can't wait!

I mean, I think it's cool that Terry's moveset is specifically special enough to warrant a showcase that lasts for longer than some Directs but it's funny too.
