I know it hasn't happened in a while, but the voices in my head are going off again and they're telling me Sephiroth will probably be a "shortly after this presentation" release. Just noting that while it's true that the last three fighters all weren't, those three fighters were also revealed and showcased at the exact same time. (I get we were given a major hint with Min Min but still). The gap between TGA and the showcase aligns nicely with the time between those three showcases and the fighters' releases.
He looked pretty much ready to go, yeah. There might be some days between the Presentation and release because the trailer did not show off what exactly Reunion (the One Wing / KH mode) does; and there are some aspects that might need polish.

I'll take a stab at this (heh) - pre-and-post-release (Long):
S:
Everyone is here: No need to explain why.
: We'll have to see Post-release, could be an annoying-as-hell character to fight against. Curious to see what his Classic will be. Still, loads of potential with him, and could wind up really fun to play as. The character design (so far, first impressions mind)
screams "I want to manipulate my oppon- puppets."
A:
: Swiss army knife? Yes, please! Post-release I've cooled on him a tad: he could use a little more weight. While super-heavies typically are feast-or-famine, Ridley in particular suffers from it because he dies earlier than say Dedede or Rool.
: Grew up with the characters, so yes indeed! Cooled off on them Post-release. They could really use some QoL fixes - their attacks are currently just slow enough that they become arguably over-reliant on Wonderwing for KOs. Which is a problem when Wonderwing is limited.
B:
/
: Brought in tons of stuff, and they even got the "Die Monster!" in there. They're cool concepts, just a bit undertuned, overshadowed and prone to being figured out. Would've like to see just a little less reliance on projectiles, and a bit more focus on the whip (aside from some slight de-cloning wishes).
: Hey, cool, a pretty exciting opportunity for an Echo! And this one didn't disappoint thankfully. Post release I became a fan of his combo and shield break strings. Shame that his two input moves are kinda hidden and not obvious for some reason.
: Set the tone really nicely, and well-timed reveal. Post-release, been mixed on him. Arsene's still a bit too strong, especially with Tetrakarn's / Makarakarn's spamability.
: Sakurai really commited to something so complex. The madman. Warmed up to the character post-release, because holy **** the versatility. Minecart is stupid though.
C:
: Not a fan of Splatoon when the Squid was revealed, but warmed up to them post-release. Some of the aerials are strangely powerful though, although it kinda makes sense with the Ink mechanic.
: Set off the Echo train... and oh dear that did not age well post-release. She's needlessly enforced as identical to Peach - for crying out loud, she could really use some de-cloning instead.
: Impact was a bit lessened by Ridley, but still welcome addition. I have cooled off on him since - while he's got a pretty decent gameplan now, I kinda think that he could really use some small QoL fixes so he's not that reliant on Krown / Kannonball at every opportunity.
: Another interesting Echo opportunity at the time, so I thought. Shame that the overall concept did not translate to reality and she's mostly identical to Samus. Could use some de-cloning.
: Did not have any reaction towards him at the reveal ("Eh, another FE character"), but post-release he became one of my favorite Echoes despite it all. It was clear that he has his own playstyle a bit different from Roy's, and the "Chrombo" sacrificial KO was hilarious to watch at release, when that was borderline busted.
: Expected something more... but hey, won't complain. Post-release, I feel bad for her. She could really use some buffs (so could Villager) - Isabelle in particular since her more trapping style doesn't really jell with her moveset.
: Preferred Decidueye because that was my SuMo main, but post-release I warmed up on the cat. Insane burst! Just a bit too slow and kinda predictable though. QoL fixes would do it wonders.
: Was not really hyped at the reveal. Went up to S tier post-release though because this character is hilarious. My only gripe - a major one - is the Language Barrier on the menu.
: Like with Hero, was not really hyped, but became one of my favorite DLC characters post-release because this character's explosive as hell. Only problem is that he - like Ryu and Ken - suffer from the "Special inputs are mapped to both A and B buttons"... which I kinda get is true to the arcades, but man, why do I have to go change the control options when I wanna use these three just to avoid misinputs?
: Was hoping Dante, not going to complain too loudly though. Post-release... I've warmed up to Byleth quite a bit since (s)he can be outright explosive in the right circumstances. Shame though that the design is non-synergestic enough that (s)he winds up overly reliant on a couple moves.
: Was not a fan of ARMS at the time of reveal, but I've warmed up a bit to her since. She seems a bit overtuned - not a huge issue; the mere ability to punch even farther away than Sephiroth's Masamune would be a challenge to balance either way. Still, it is a really interesting concept and kudos for the execution at large.
Ngl, I would a l m o s t take Ganondorf, Daisy and Dark Samus getting unquie movesets over the next three DLC.
Daisy and Dark Samus, yes.
Ganondorf... eh, I'm of two minds about that. On one hand, yeah he's the King of Evil. On the other hand, he's been the King of Disrespect since Melee and I love that incarnation because of that. I also grew up on Melee, so that explains well, everything. I'm pretty happy that they gave him DORIYAH - he might need something else other than "Even more unneccessarily powerful Falcon Punch".
And as an aside, I did post the "Likliest TGA characters" and I'll fully accept the L there.
