Congrats to Steve's fans. To me, it's a huge disappointment after the long wait for this character reveal. I'll probably be taking a break until the next character gets closer. Curious about the Mii Costumes though.

Well, I was wrong about thinking they wouldn't go for big third parties.

I was right that Steve's animations would be awkward. Can't be mad at that stage though.

I have to say, I didn't expect to have 0% interest in FP7 but here we are. Still, it's a big thing for the game and will definitely increase the second pass sales.

Uggghhhhh. Steve is a character I really didn't want and his animations and design do absolutely nothing for me and look very awkward like I feared they would. This also means Master Chief is probably not happening (not that his chances were exactly great to begin with but still).

Oh well, congrats to the Steve/ninecraft fans out there.

Well, I can already sense people are extremely disappointed because Steve isn't a "serious" choice.

Personally, I love this addition. Minecraft is a really big part of gaming, so finding a way to implement it in Smash is quite an accomplishment.

On one hand, Steve was on my lower end of characters I wanted for Smash. On the other hand, I'll give him a shot if he is fun to play.

Welp, I've been in arguments where Steve was deemed a simple a Mii Costume and nothing more, because Steve was an avatar and not a character. I guess Sakurai made it possible. Is this my most hype character? No, but it makes sense in retrospect that Minecraft would certainly sneak its way into Smash.

Now onto the next biggest game in gaming, Fortnite Jonesy joins the battle!! Haha...ha...ha...

Hell yeah! Minecraft’s one of my top 10 favorite games ever. Steve’s been up there on my list of most wanted characters. Nice to see him in!
