I'm 99% sure all the reactors in the video are Nintendo partners, and that's why their reactions were used.
That (probably) and the fact that most other reaction videos have people swearing out loud, which is a big no-no for them.

I imagine in at least a few of those videos there's swearing they just edited around. The clips from each are only a few seconds.

>using some egirl's reaction

>not using Maximilian Dood's reaction

>not using Etika's reaction

alright I can get why a family-friendly corporate twitter wouldn't use an Etika reaction
I can kind of see why they didn't use Max's reaction - a lot of it had to be censored (with Terry sound effects, no less - his immediate reaction when Terry showed up was "what the **** am I looking at?"), and I'm not even sure if "Oh my God!" or "Aw, Jesus..." would pass. (I think one of the Rogersbase segments had "Oh my--" but he didn't finish it)

Max's reactions are exciting to watch and very genuine, definitely (his reaction to Cloud in Smash is probably the best reaction video that I've seen), but not exactly family friendly haha.

I love how people are using the fact Byleth only had a single reaction in there as proof Byleth is bad when 3 other characters on there only had 1 reaction to. Banjo Bros and their 25 dollar Banjo Pass head asses
Except the difference was that with Byleth was that the reaction was pure laughter, not RogersBase going nuts. A bit of a different tone there.

Well they could have just used the reactions from the NY crowd, I thought they were pretty good

using reaction videos in general to judge a character inclusion seems silly, considering the people that make those videos probably are a super-duper, incredibly tiny amount of the smash base, not to mention who knows how many of said videos are actually genuine...

I mean, no proof was really needed. You can watch 90% of other reaction videos to that reveal to know what's what.

It's certainly the most telling.

Skip to 3:40. This is the full reaction of what they chose, how is someone squeeing and clapping with glee while fangirling proof Byleth was bad? That's what you guys are saying, that someone being REALLY excited is proof Nintendo must have tried their absolute hardest and that there's only 1 Byleth reaction meaning people REALLY didn't like Byleth when again, only one of these 5 got more than 1 reaction video. What difference of tone is there cause really, all I saw was excitement

It seems to me that he exaggerrates some of his reactions. Frankly, normal people don't scream and cry enough for a reaction video.

You honestly couldn't convince me any of his reactions are faked or exaggerated. Even the ones where he really freaks out (Cloud in Smash and Geese in Tekken come to mind), it's in proportion with the passion he's always expressed for those games

The only time I remember any reaction videos being fake is El Grande Padre di Jenos having a Normal One losing his goddamn mind and saying "haha guys I was exaggerating for comedic effect! This was a social experiment" and I gotta say, the only time someone's willing to say they're fake is when they throw a tantrum while tossing **** and screaming tells me it isn't fake

Well today's the day where we see interesting potential games, only to realize it's a lie. That Tales of Versus 2 game would have been so rad. :(

And then there's the people who take it even further.

Max has the uncanny ability to pick up on reveals based on the first note played. He did it for Cloud and he also did it for Panzer Dragoon.

I really hope we get someone like Nightmare or Dante in Smash just so I can see Max go ballistic again.

My opinion? Who gives a ****? If you liked the character, if you liked the reveal, if it was your favorite, that's all that matters. If you didn't? All the same. Don't understand this back a d forth we have going on right now.

Max's Cloud reveal is the pinnacle of joy I've ever seen brought on by Smasy. That dude was over the moon when Cloud was revealed. I go back and watch that video ALLLL the time because it's just so wholesome and that's my boi.

Rie Sonomura Rie Sonomura Saw your post a few pages back about the throne blade in XB2. To answer your question his name is Dagas.

View attachment 267843

I remember him well because he was the first rare blade I summoned.

Unfortunately the third was Gorg.
Dagas is probably like my favorite male Blade in the whole game, assign him to Zeke and it’s even more epic

No you can't.
If I can't you as well can't prove that some of his reactions are faked or exaggerated.

I mean, if you have been watching his videos you'll know that he loves with passion games such as Final Fantasy VII or 3rd Strike, or that he's super fan of characters such Rock Howard. Knowing that his super positive reactions to anything FFVII related or when he saw that Rock was in the background of Terry's stage makes a lot of sense, and this is only to name a few examples.
Obviously each people expresses his emotions in a different manner, I'm not a guy who would jump or scream like crazy because my fave character is in Smash, that doesn't mean other people can't be more expressive when it comes to videogames.

Also, usually is pretty obvious when someone is faking a reaction only for the sake of getting views. Max doesn't give that feeling, and if he's really faking his reactions then I'd say he's an incredible actor lol
