My chips on who I think Fighter 5 will be... don't matter at this point, since it's only a matter of hours until the Game Awards start and the moment of truth (hopefully) finally arrives.

I can only say who I hope Fighter 5 is... and my absolute hopes and dreams for a Smash announcement right now, whether it's Fighter 5 or the first post-Pass character, is that a category that Smash Ultimate has been nominated for gets brought up (whether it wins or loses, it doesn't matter). Then, someone such as Geoff or Reggie appears and says "well, that's it for Smash for this year's Game Awards"...

Meh...anyway... something I’ve been wondering for when fp5 arrives...what balance changes are folks expecting/hoping for? Pretty sure this still would fall under dlc discussion so it should be fine....

All I want to see is ganon get some buffs to recovery, some faster moves, and a reliable way to deal with projectiles. Seriously he’s been trash for too long now, even in ultimate where he’s technically better than he has been in the past, he’s still pretty garbage relative to the rest of the cast, it’s time this was fixed.
