Is King Zell the same person who leaked Banjo? I recall it being someone from Reset Era.

Good morning.

Apparently there were some rumors of some Halo content and MC.

That leak is vague as ****. I mean, he would have said if he were DLC if he could. Or maybe post-pass, maybe just his games coming to Switch.

But one thing is certain: screw your confirmation bias. Niche character is frontrunner, everyone whines. Major character is frontrunner, everyone hypes and dismisses niche character.

When will you all learn the value of open-mindedness?

How could it be fake though? This Nintendo guy's never been wrong about Smash before. They leaked Ryu and Roy for Smash 4, Castlevania for Ultimate, and Hero's codename for DLC. Their track record is spotless.

Zell is one of the most consistent insiders on Era. He hinted at Halo stuff coming to Switch a few hours ago. Whether that has anything to do with Smash remains to be seen.

That doesn't have any relation to the 'question', I think. This is about reaching or surpassing the hype Chief would generate, and obviously a Sony rep could do that for obvious reasons.

As far as I know, Zell has never been wrong.

I find it hard to believe Halo would come to Switch before the Rare games, but we live in a brave new world with Microsoft/Nintendo collaborations.

I don't think MCC on Switch means Master Chief is getting in though.

I get that.
Halo is big, but it is specially in USA. From my experience I would say that in Europe God of War and Uncharted are arguably as big and followed as Halo, for example. Same for Gran Turismo back then.
At least that's my perception.

Admittedly, there isn't one. Uncharted and God of War are great franchises and important ones in their own way, but in terms of history, none of them can beat Halo.

But a pure Sony rep would be gigantic due to how surprising it will be. It won't just be a "Wow! He's in", it will be a "HOLY ****, THEY ACTUALLY DID IT". Chief will be that if he makes it in, and a pure Sony rep like Kratos or to a lesser extent Nathan Drake, will do the same.
