<p align="center">DK’s “little buddy” has been around since 1994 and since then has stared in a decent selection of games. While most of them are sport games (Mario Kart, Mario Tennis, Mario Strikers) he has been in his own series as well of Diddy Kong Racing, not to mention the Donkey Kong Country series, Donkey Kong 64 and the number of DK Bongo games. He was one of the most likely to be in Brawl, as DK was still the sole representative of the Donkey Kong series, so him being in Brawl, while not a total suprise, is still very welcome.</p>

<p align="center">Diddy’s jetpack one again is making a return, last seen in Mario Tennis (If it was in the bongo games, I’m unaware of it as I never had the opertunity to play them) and he’s also bringing along his Peanut popguns. He also uses “whimsical fighting moves.”</p>

Well they’ve given us a pretty good idea of what a couple of his B moves could be. And I think by “whimsical fighting moves” they mean he uses all four limbs, which should be pretty cool.

The little stars on his tank top are cute (Did he always have those?), but the Nintendo logo on his cap is a bit much.

Well this was completely unexpected. I didn’t think we’d see another new character for weeks.

Well I’m glad this little guy is in the game. As long as they properly put DK’s and Diddy’s villain in… I’ll be right as rain.

hey its diddy! of corse, we all expected him, but not so soon! i wonder if there will be 1 character a week now… his popguns and jetpack sound really cool, and in DK 64, you can even use both of them at the same time! great game by the way, DK 64, if it ever comes out on the VC you should download it.

It was obvious Diddy as gonna get in. he originally had the rare sign so I guess Nintendo just wants to show that they claim him now. I dunno. Im glad to see he’s not part of a Diddy/Dixie duo. but I still want Dixie to be playble in brawl. we have been getting at least one character every week. the time we didnt get a character we got 2 the following week so not much of a suprise there. hopefully Dixie gets into Brawl to round out the DK series.

Peach-man, I was just joking.

TsumopDon’t know what you mean about Diddy having the Rare sign, but he’s been in quite a few Nintendo games since Nintendo bought the rights to all Rare-made DK characters when they split.

low tier? whats with the diddy hate from the last thread? He was an obvious one to get in, and he could be really good. I imagine he’ll be an agile little guy, not the most powerful, but quick. Ahem.. shiek.

whimsical means that he’s going to be unpredictable, it probably means that he’s going to be fast and use is 4 limbs to preform quick moves. Glad he’s in brawl =]

I noticed this as well, but he’s far too small. His eyes look like MetaKnights but that’s just coincidence.

Dixie will probably be a part of Diddy’s FS, and King K. Rool is too interesting to just be a boss, he’s going to be a character.

I was totally hoping that Lucas would be under that “Warning! Challenger Approaching!” banner, but it was Diddy. (That “source guy” was wrong)

With so many people wanting him I wasn’t very surprised to see him as a playable character.

Aside from my lack of surpise, I think Diddy looks fun and spontaneous to play as. He could possibly be a really great character to play with at high skill levels. Then again, with all the balancing I’m seeing from the updates all characters could be pretty even.

Man, I saw the warning sign and I pleaded for it to be Tom Nook.
Guys I won’t be making as many post because school has begun 4 me and it starts at 7:40 and ends at 3:00.

I’m not sure Zero-Suit will HAVE a Final Smash. Samus uses her FS to become Zero-Suit, so it would be unfair to give the player who picks Samus two devastating attacks. Remember, you can only use one FS per round.

As much as I previously didn’t care about Diddy making it in, I have to say, I really can’t wait to play as the little guy. Nothing short of cancellation can screw this game up.
