He's been the only one to really give me any inclination that he might be mafia. I have a feeling Panta and Cadet are town, and possibly Zen as well. I'm not sure about the others yet.

She seems to be actively scumhunting, but despite being told to do so, she took way too long to place a vote.

When she did, it was a fairly clear OMGUS, and that impression isn't made any better by her saying no clear reason and then saying that she'll reread to get that reason. If she has enough suspicion to vote for him, why wouldn't she give it at the time of the vote, or even after being called out on this very point?

Okay, first of all, it was definitley not an OMGUS vote. The reason I'm voting now and not ealier is because I didn't feel comfortable voting then. I'm not like everyone else in that I want to push a vote early on. I understand that if you don't people will think you're mafia regardless, but I think it's a pretty stupid reasoning. Plus, just because people tell me to vote doesn't mean I have to. I mean, really? I didn't know I had to vote immediately. I'd rather have a reason.

And, for that, let me give you my reasons for voting for Garg (and this is without me even going back and reading becuase I haven't even had the chance to just yet seeing as I've been busy). He was joking about the batman thing, which was very amusing to say the least, but, turning what Zen had to say around, he seemed very comfortable, like he was waiting for the night to come so that he could actually get some work done. To me, it seemed like he didn't really know what to do, so he decided to make jokes instead and hope people just passed over him and didn't suspect him at all. I have no personal grudge against Garg, but he's the one I trust the least. Are you voting on me soley for the fact that I took forever to vote? Because, if you look back, I had said that I had suspected Garg and I have yet to change my ideas from that. Is there any other reason for voting for me besides just how I took forever to vote and wanted even more evidence before I pointed fingers? You wouldn't go into court and have somebody arrested without proper proof, would you?

Oh, and I did give a reason, about as much as everyone else has given. I had been asked to explain my reasonings for why I don't think Cadet and Panta are mafia, and I was going to come back to those reasonings.

But, not personally knowing you, that is what I take away from your jokes. As I said, at the moment, you are just the person I trust the least.

But, I was being careful of voting not to kill the wrong person, not really realizing (althought knowing, at the same time) that I could change my vote at any time before the Day ended. And, I was trying to be careful not to make enemies with the first game I started. For a while, my suspicion of you stemmed from a feeling like you were trying to withold information, but I'm starting to realize that that could be a reason to suspect anyone, so it'd be unfair just to suspect you. It was mostly because I had read some other games on here in which you were a participant and this is not how you normally act. But, regardless of that, I don't really feel any mafia vibes from you.

@Pheonix: You can very much find scum on d1. Yes, you don't have the evidenence from player flips and night actions as you would on other days, but you can still ask questions and begin to formulate connections. I've seen day 1 mafia lynches happen just from active discussion and scumhunting from town.

@garg: A joke is only funny for so long. Just putting that out there.

@Sang: Trying to gauge you is like running around in circles haha. Despite this I like your play because you're thinking quite independently from the views I've been suggesting you adopt. You're contradicting yourself, but its the type of contradiction that feels pretty natural coming from a player of your skill level and your rambling explanations seem fairly genuine. Just try to calm down a bit.

@Zen: Thoughts, if any, on BCP forgetting that X1 wasn't in this game? Can you give me a read on Panta?

@Garg: Can I get your updated read on SW?

I see. What games have you read?

Don't be afraid to make enemies/step on toes/etc. It's a game. Making friends is fine in its place, but ultimately the goal is to win. I do understand where you're coming from though. In real life its much more personalized face to face. Everyone here in dgames is pretty cool with eachother though and good about not taking the game to a personal level.

You're right that she seems to be actively scumhunting, but I don't see what's so scummy about taking her time to place her vote. She clearly explained when I questioned her about it why she held the views that she did and, if anything, her reluctance to follow along with what I told her to do just proves she has independent initiative. I think scumSW would have voted Garg immediately after I advised her to.

Also her vote on Garg clearly wasn't OMGUS as she explained awhile back her reasoning for Garg suspicion yet said that it wasn't enough for her to lay her vote down. If she stated her reasoning back in the thread, I don't see why it reflects badly upon her to vote without re-stating it.

It stands for "Oh my God! You suck!" It's kind of like, "because you voted for me, I'm voting for you"

It means voting a player based on the reasoning that they voted you first, without adding any other additional reasoning.

Example: Player X votes for player Y. Player Y votes for player X directly after. Player X calls OMGUS and then they argue about it.

Well, in that case, I don't think Sangfroid is voting me because of OMGUS. Even though she had to reread my statements to find them, she clearly stated her reasoning, and I can see where she's coming from.

I have to reread the thread. I've been doing a lot of skimming, and a lot of it during ungodly hours (like 7:40 AM )

Werekill jumped on Sangfroid and I don't think that that's a good move; being late to vote is a common mistake and I honestly think this is just him being a noob.

What isn't a common mistake, and what I'd claim is very definitely a scum-tell is this: post 192. I honestly don't see where Panta is getting that read, and seeing as he hasn't posted since, I'm calling scum on that.

Garg has been posting a whole lot of absolute fluff, which I consider worse than just lurking-he's posting, but doing his best to make those posts contain very, very little of any value.

All in all though? Vote: Panta. Not liking what I'm seeing there.

Explain to me what you're getting at wrt 192 because I don't see it. You say you don't see where Panta is getting that read but all I don't see Panta saying he got a read at all in that post.
