Newbie 13: Organization XIII Mafia ~Town Wins!~

I don't understand why so many people are worried about Pheonix being in LYLO. We're not even close to that. He'll be replaced before he even gets in there. And, besides, werekill, based on your reasoning that anyone who doesn't vote pheonix if he flips scum is going to look bad... I'm not going to vote for someone I don't really feel is mafia because that goes against the entire point of the game. If I'm penalized for it, so be it. At the moment, there's enough from Pheonix for people to think that he's slgihtly scummy but it's annoying that people want to kill him just because he's not really here. Ugh. That... *sigh* I guess I understand where you guys are coming from but... Ugh. I'm torn between wanting him gone so he can't harm us by not being here and my morals that I don't want to kill a town that is inactive and will/might be replaced/modkilled at some point.

at the time I assumed that she knew that scum could talk outside of thread because she had played IRL mafia but now I recall her later telling me in thread that scum couldn't talk to each other privately.

As I had probably said in some post after that... in fact I think I did... Either way, I had gone to mafiascum.net hoping to learn a little bit so I wasn't completely clueless. That's also where I learned about WIFOM and... that other thing you asked me about that isn't coming to mind because my brain is fried. But, yeah. I think I also asked J about it before the game started but I must have completely forgotten about it.

Which is it? You learned that scum could talk outside of thread from mafiascum or J told you at the beginning of the game? I'd understand if it was from mafiascum but you have to make sure you're telling the truth.

*sigh* I think that J mentioned it offhandedly but it didn't mean much to me because I was freaking out thinking "OMG I GET TO BE IN A MAFIA GAME!!!" I don't remember much of that conversation. But, I was confused as to whether or not mafia could talk during the night and I wasn't sure if I could ask J again or not or if it would be a breach of the rules or something and I didn't want to post it on here because I wasn't sure if I was going to get flak for it or not. So, I had to go back and double check on MS before I made any comments on that aspect. Sorry. Trying to read through all 600 posts again at the moment. Should have put more effort into answering. :/

@Acro. No, he just introduced me to the idea of it. Never gave me any real information. The scum could look at each other during the night and choose who they wanted but they could never talk during the day. Same with the werewolf game I played. That was just IRL mafia, which is very different from this mafia, hence why I'm in a newbie game.

IDK. I was mostly confused. Much like I am now... Um, that it was mostly inconclusive, so I eventually did ask J. I remember that much, now at least. Ugh. I'm not making any sense, am I? ...where the frick did I come up with MS saying mafia could talk during the day? I just went back and looked and said it was usually against the rules. ...what?

I really don't make any sense at the moment. I believe I have backtracked into the rambling stage at the moment. Also, does this, in any way, make me seem scummy? Because I feel like it is going to, but I don't know what this has to do with anything other than for curiosity's sake.

I actually went back and re-read Sangfroid's #47 in RSV. I really don't think Sangfroid is lying, however if she is this would be the second case of a possible scum slip.

Alright, fine. Fine fine fine. You want the real truth? FML. I should have said this in the first place but I was so afraid I would get modkilled for it or get J in trouble but I guess I just dug a deeper whole for myself for some stupid ****.
I never went to MS to look for info about night lynch. When I was talking about the Pheonix/Werekill stuff, I asked J if scum could talk during the night because I was confused. This was during the game, and I thougt it was against the rules to talk to the Mod outside of the game about the game. I lied about it because I didn't want to get myself in trouble, or J for that matter. He told me that yes, they could talk during the day. The only reason I went to MS was to look for acronyms. If you still want to kill me, don't let me go down without a fight for myself or at least giving you the notes about who I think is scum.

Sang, congratulations on moving to the top of my scum list. I can understand making a mistake, but considering the fact that J is one of the freaking mods who could have modkilled you right then, I don't buy the idea that you were scared of a modkill.
Most mods take out people who break the rules during a game VERY quickly. I should know... I'm not allowed in any Tom games anymore. >_<

So he is not on AIM. So then who informed you that you wouldn't be mod killed or get J in trouble for making #622? At first I assumed you had just asked him if it was ok at that point, but you're telling me you did not?
Why did you decide to go on and out with it? If you were truly afraid of getting in trouble in the first place, so much that you decided to lie about it, why would you suddenly just out with it? To me it just looks like you finally got your excuse together. I don't buy it one bit.
