Ok Omega, i shortened the post if you want to take a look at it, and without any spoilers!(at least i think)

Dins fire: I think that would be an interesting stage, but it would be nice to have it a little bigger(highlighting chibi's size even more) and/or platforms. Hmmm....

I've actually been trying to find an estimate on his height. I'm finding a range of 13 (Super) to 22 feet (Prime). ...That assumes Samus is 6' 3". Which she's probably not. So Ridley's probably smaller than that.

Obviously that doesn't take into account his NES appearance.

REALLY THOUGH, the "size argument" is just a joke. "He's too big" is an inarticulate way of trying to convey that his lanky frame may be too hard to implement in Smash. Which is a legitimate argument, albeit flimsy at best.

(Kind of funny to note that Ridley is one of the smaller Metroid bosses, lol (THOUGH I'M NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE PRIME SERIES...))

In the 2D games, Bowser isn't that huge but as shown in NSMB Wii, he's 10x bigger than Mario.

In the 3D platformers, Bowser is huge
(Kind of funny to note that Ridley is one of the smaller Metroid bosses, lol (THOUGH I'M NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE PRIME SERIES...))

The weird thing is that Bowser's size has always been different in Smash, particularly between Brawl and Melee, IMO though his size looked just about right in Brawl.

It's also weird how huge he was in Super Mario 64, yet he got resized in Melee due to him probably being overpowered if they did so.

I love kamek, i wouldn't mind seeing him in SSB4. He has amazing moveset potential, but Bowser Jr. , paper mario and Toad have more relevancy to the series(with the exception of Paper Mario which is it's own series). I guess if it wasn't for that bringing him down i'd do an essay on him + moveset.

And no Oasis isn't kidding you. Watch the scene in metroid Other M where Samus goes to the bridge and winds up fighting Phantoon. Intense.

Then again, Smash is not canon. Well, they had to balance Bowser.

Ridley will fit in. He'll cover up half of Final Destination.

Kamek could potentially be considered an enemy of Yoshi rather than Mario, since Kamek is the one pestering Yoshi around in most of his games.

Also, the last character in Mario Kart 64 was suppose to be Magikoopa, but they instead put Donkey Kong in for some reason. Just some interesting information.

Mario Galaxy, the generic Magikoopa that helps Bowser and zaps mario at the begging is officially called Kamek

In Super Mario RPG, you fight against Kamek, but the translator's forgot that in the English version Kamek has a name, and the Japanese version doesn't so they just called him Magikoopa.

If you use Psychopath on him, his thoughts are "That's...my child?" Implying that he's brainwashed and remembers raising Bowser.

In Japan, ALL Magikoopa's are named Kamek, and while Kamek is still his own character, they don't give him his own name. They probably felt this was too confusing in other languages since you couldn't tell him from any other Magikoopa and Romanized his name while translating every other Magikoopa

Hmm .. Taking advantage of the discussion is a little stoped, and the subject is practically dead, I would like to post something I posted yesterday and nobody noticed ... What do you think?

And I was thinking, all the characters belonging to Earthbound had changes in their design, and perhaps, by some miracle, get in Sm4sh Ninten, he will need a new disign, since its original form does not present a definitive structure.


So I did a drawing showing how to think it would be a design of 'new Ninten'. It is based on the original, kept the main features (T-shirt and cap blue and red), it is also based on those scouts who knock on your door selling cookies or doing some kind of good deed to win some kind of medal or button. I also did its representation of shape and color of the PSI, would square with a kind of 'green Bulbasaur,' (the Ness is a white circle and Lucas is a yellow hexagon)

His Moveset:

A: Punch
AA: Punch
AAA: Explosion with PSI.

Side 'A': A kind of punch that resembles the Hadouken, but using PSI
Up 'A': will be identical to 'Side A', however, upward.
Down 'A': Same as 'Up A'.

'Walking' A ': A push energized with PSI.
'Running' A ': A Kick energized with PSI.
'Looking up' A ': A simple attack with a punch powered up.
'Kneeling' A ': Roundhouse.

Side 'A' in the air: A punch down.
Up 'A' in the air: Kick up energized with PSI.
Down 'A' in the air: Burst PSI down.
'A' in the air: spin with PSI.

Standard B Moves: PK Ground: A column of earth will rise around Ninten and 15% damage for who is reached.
Side B Move: PK Fire: A lightning bolt will hit the opponent that will fire for 5 seconds with 10% damage.
Up B Move: PK Teleport: teleport to the direction requested. If fallow is in this place of arrival, someone will receive 13% damage.
Down B Move: PSI Magnet.

Final Smash: PK Techno: Will form a green bubble and that is in the middle will lose about 300% without causing any kind of thrower, leaving you vulnerable to any attack hit.

Don't know much about Kamek but if he had a chance, he would be a yoshi villian I guess.

@Omega: It's either Sakurai makes his moveset from scratch or he will base it on sports moveset. His chances aren't that much anyway

I see no problem in putting Waluigi in sm4sh, a character that he would influence a good balance and will not be very natado, like Jigglypuff and Yoshi! And the Great Fox is posted at the concept stage of the Starphoenix.

EDIT: Waluigi is a high elf and moody! LOLOLOLOL ;)
