Currently we have 649, but I stopped playing Pokemon titles after the 4th generation.

Hmm.. Well I stopped playing after the 2nd gen, any of the newer ones I'm am pretty unfamilar aside from the popular requested of course.

Anyway on the subject of Pokemon, who would you like to see if we indeed got a six slot for the franchise?personally I'd like to see Giovanni with Armored Mewtwo along with the following:

•Pikachu
•Pokemon Trainer (Red)
•Meowth

•Jiggs (sort of but not as much)
•Mewtwo (I'd rather see him as himself but I also wouldn't mind if he was part of a moveset)
•Lucario (Im neutral on his inclusion, I don't really care if he gets axed or not.
•Zoroark (I am interested to see what kind of moves he'll have, but again I'd rather he doesn't play similar to Mewtwo or Lucario)
•Victini (I would like to see Victini as he will probably have a very unique style of play)

Well, back to Final Fantasy. I've been playing my first ever Final Fantasy game, Final Fantasy IV. Never played an FF game, until now.

Also, anyone care to explain the "derp" phenomenon to me?

Are you serious? Might I reccommend playing FF I, it's a great game if you are into classics, IV? Well I've never played it but you should give these a try as well.

These were some of the newer one I played but of course any of the classics
are just as good as well, personally my favorite one is FFVIII, it has a great soundtrack plus it's a pretty long game, the overall story was good.

Hmm... that makes me think... how does a climbing mechanic for SSB4 sound like? Just the ability to climb up a rope or something like that.

I think that would be a great situation mechanic. An example of a stage that could use this is the 75M stage in Brawl and a Wrecking Crew stage.

Pikachu, Mewtwo, and Jigglypuff can be caught in the wild too, with Mewtwo being a one-of-a-kind encounter.

Anyway, Scrafty is just a random Pokemon, and random Pokemon are often limited to being placed in Poke Balls, or making cameo appearances.

I'm talking about Pokemons that are not only in the wild; but aren't advertised heavily. Would be a nice change of pace from the "popular" Pokemons species.

I agree with Victini IF it means bringing back Mewtwo, I could care less about Lucario being replaced by Zoroark but I guess we can't have Zoroark and Victini if it comes down to bringing back Mewtwo.

We don't know if there's going to be a SSB5. Best not to speculate about it until it comes.

I'm dead serious. I'm playing through my first ever Final Fantasy. May try playing the original since I know I have 600 unused points. Then maybe I'll try Final Fantasy III/VI?

IV is what I'm playing through now. Happen to actually like Cecil as a character. The whole dark knight/paladin exchange is neat. I'm at the point where I am looking for the dark crystals now and Kain is on my team again. Luckily Kain isn't under that mind control so now I can actually use him again. So I'm glad he's back on my side now.

I dunno about all the infinite chaingrabs business,thats not serious monkey business. I don't think Brawl did that great a job capturing Diddy's essence. I personally dislike that his reputation in most people's eyes has to do with him being top tier.


Not that he shouldn't play well, but bananas? That was never have I watched the Kong Krew chuck bananas in any of the games.

Same goes for Wario. I didn't like his specials

I'm playing MY first Final Fantasy... Final Fantasy I. xD No idea what I'm doing. =P

But I know Fire Emblem... sort of. I happen to know that generally speaking, the only current characters who would have any chance of being added are

Roy - because he was previously a character and was partially programmed into Brawl.

Caeda - If they for SOME reason decide to add a brand new one. She's the second main protagonist of the newest Fire Emblem.

And Roy is much more likely, so if anything we'd get Roy back.



Sadly, and I say this because I'd like to see it, the Black Knight isn't too horribly likely...

Wow, and here I thought you had played most RPG's since you seem very knowledgable when it comes to them.

Anyway I played both FFI and FFII on PSX, the virtual console also has those I'm guessing.

Man, the game I still need to play is Super Mario RPG that has Geno, I wonder what Geno actually does in that game.
