Mewtwo on my end. Took care of Giga Bowser before dealing with Mewtwo and Ganondorf.

Anyway, because the Subspace Emissary is not canon, Tabuu may not exist at all for Smash 4's Adventure Mode.

A bit delayed on my response here, but I seriously don't think that having more Nintendo related things would have really changed anything. I mean from a gameplay perspective, going with original enemies is actually theoretically better, since they create obstacles that don't need to conform to attack patterns that have already been established. Locations are sort of irrelevant too when you look at SSB, since it went all over the place. If the forest Link and Yoshi started out in had Morblins and it said "Hyrule Forest" or something somewhere, it wouldn't have changed a single thing. The story was also a non-issue which people need to get over as well, but that's not really what I want to talk about since that's separate. I still don't understand what people realistically expect though. I mean dialogue? That really doesn't work for a lot of characters and some (like Mario) shouldn't be talking for that long. Other than that I suppose there could be scrolling screens of text or narrators or something. I mean Sakurai can obviously write a script, but the crossover nature of it is something that fundamentally screws with things.

The main problems with SSE was how its gameplay turned out to be, and quite frankly its difficult to make suggestions as for how to improve it, which is the major issue in my eyes. The thing is that the characters are designed first and foremost for the versus mode, not the single player one, so the platforming and attacking options are somewhat limited. The fact that your jump mechanics vary so much and the fact that they are intended to be used for a completely different genre of game is the big problem, since it interferes with the platforming. This also makes certain characters who originate from platformers seem funky, since they aren't using their standard mechanics, but rather toned down ones (Look at Mario for instance). Suggesting different enemies and different locations doesn't solve those problems.

The thing is the SSE gameplay had no personality and style. If it did, it was minimal.

All of the said series in Smash have a personality and style, along with all the common enemies and bosses that are both diverse and beloved. If we implemented those series into smash bros, it could be really awesome.

This pre-existing personality and diversity is what separates Smash Bros. from other fighting games. In other fighting games, everything is made for those games, and everything single-player is bland as a result. Smash doesn't have to suffer that, because each franchise in smash has a rich history.

Oh good, I'm not the only one who thought that the Nintendo themed stuff doesn't really matter. Still I do think the original stuff from SSE was a bit lackluster.

Besides, technically we did have Nintendo themed levels. There was the Halbard (Kirby), Skyworld (KI), The Ruined Zoo (Mother 3), Icicle Mountain (Ice Climbers).

As for gameplay, that is tough, but there are enough platforming elements in Nintendo's history I think to make it happen. You can even take elements from non-platforming games as well, like they did with F-Zero in Melee's Adventure mode.

Also, try-hi, I went to McDonalds, but the connection was iffy. However, i did get a little bit, enough to prove that YOU WERE RIGHT (YES!!!), they do have Nintendo compatible wi-fi. I will be trying again gopefully in the near future.

Seriously though, you don't need to have voice actors for EVERY single character, just the ones that would be ideal for such a thing (Snake)

And yes, Nintendo themes in the SSE would have mattered, especially after what we were used to in Melee's Adventure Mode. Idgaf about some nameless island with generic *** backdrops and random enemies, I wanna be able to stomp on Goombas and beat the hell out of ReDeads again! This is a Ninty crossover game, so Smash needs to focus on that aspect. Fan service (NOT THAT KIND OF FAN SERVICE), **** like that goes a long way

Ok, got one I don't think i've posted. I know I posted this game's music before, but I think I omitted this one due to the fact I was going crazy and had to make myself stop. It's really good though, a bit jazzy. ;)

@John: The difference is, Waluigi actually has a legitimate chance. While he isn't the most likely, he still has a decent shot. Hell, Toad isn't as likely as people think because Sakurai doesn't view him as a fighter.

Whereas Knuckles....has a two-tailed fox, an emo hedgehog, and a fat guy in a mech to deal with. All of which point guns at him since the've all used one before at some point. :lol:

It does matter. It gives Smash Bros.' forgettable adventure mode personality. Without Nintendo themes and content, there is no difference between Smash's Adventure Mode and Street Fighter's.

Those levels were just like the other's-bland. Also, the Ruined Zoo is a reference to the Zoo (the first area where you get 1 of the 8 Melodies) in MOTHER 1.

Really, the Melee Adventure Mode areas really felt Nintendo-ish. The Brawl ones were exactly what the 7th generation of gaming did wrong; made everything generic, tried to copy good games, and had really bland coloring, pacing, and areas. It doesn't matter if you were in the ice area, the desert, or the forest; everything felt the same. It doesn't work that way in Mario, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Metroid, etc. That's what smash bros need to bring-make different environments feel DIFFERENT!

Agreed. Nintendo can also borrow from 2D platforming games they have made, whether Mario, DKC, Zelda II, Metroid, Kirby, Yoshi, or various other minor franchises for platformer elements. The rest can come from really anywhere.

Also, a mine cart DKC level would rock in the story mode.

Metal would half VO work? In the sse Mario and pit have a few scenes together, if pit talked as much as he does in his game it'd be weird to have Mario just standing there silent with him.

Thanks Metal! It's good to be back. Holidays are awesome thus far, and it's only 1 day in. ;)

Plus I get three weeks break instead of two! Woo!

All of this means hopefully i'll be on a little more. ;)

Which means i'll be playing more games and posting more music!

Waluigi has to deal with a white kid with a polka dot turban 3 times as big as him on his head, a mini demon turtle, a toad with a magical staff, a little magician woman who babysits demon turtles, and a protector spirit dwelling in a puppet.

(although don't be stupid and visit dangerous places during Spring Break like some fools)

Bowser Jr. is the only one out of those that poses a major threat.
Toad? Sakurai outright stated he can't see Toad fighting.
Wart? How in the Hell is a nobody like HIM competition?
Kamek's a guy...Kammy is the female one. Anyways, he could be a threat. But would he be a Mario rep or Yoshi rep?
Geno? Don't make me laugh. He isn't competition to even Baby Daisy.

EDIT: @John: If Sega is bought out by Nintendo, then Knuckles' competition will pile up with characters like NiGHTS, AiAi, Billy Hatcher, etc., as the Sonic series wouldn't be exclusive.
Also, enough of the Nintendo buying out Sega crap, it didn't happen, nor is it likely to happen in the near future.
