I didn't really like the Bramble Blast remix in Brawl, TBH :/

IMO the Bramble Blast remix was the best song in Brawl, and the best remix I've ever heard of that song. Still, I would have liked the original version of that song. That and the original version of just about every song in smash would be sweet!

Yeah, he recently did a OC Remix for Donkey Kong with some fan composers. Personally, I think the DKC series should get some new blood at at least compose the soundtrack or new songs alongside David Wise, but regardless, David Wise should at least do a few songs, whether new songs ore remixes.

I have been a fan of Ridley when most of this board was still in diapers. The same goes for Mega Man and Dixie Kong. I have been a fan of all of those characters during at least the mid-90's. Fortunately, both Ridley and Mega Man have really good shots at being unveil material newcomers. Unfortunately, Dixie Kong will most likely be a hidden character, which means I am likely going to have to wait until late 2014 at the earliest to find out whether or not she will be playable.

Also, I was expecting a November 18 release for the Wii U, considering that was around the date for the Wii's release. However, I am a bit disturbed by the rumor that the Wii U will be weaker than both the PS3 and even the 360. I was not expecting the Wii U to compete with the PS4 and next X-Box in terms of graphics, but I was at least expecting it to be slightly above the two HD consoles of this generation.

When did you hear this rumor? I'm guessing its new because they have been saying for a while now that the Wii U is going to be a little bit stronger than ps3 and 360.

I agree that this probably isn't true. Many other devs with dev kits have said that it is slightly stronger than ps3 and 360 while this ONE guy says its weaker. I'm going to go with what most people have been saying and assume its a little bit stronger.

Do you mean the site was still in diapers, most of the people here were in diapers, or both were still in diapers=???

Also, I don't think Dixie Kong is a for sure hidden/secret character. I think there is a good shot she will be a starter, assuming she is playable, of course.

Yeah, that is pretty stupid. I think the Wii U should be delayed another couple of months or so. Make the console stronger than the PS3 and Xbox 360 by far. If it isn't, if it doesn't have at least 40 GB memory (I'll get my 2 TB Seagate drive), I will be severely disappointed.

If you think about it, even Koji Kondo is letting other composers work with him in games like Super Mario Galaxy[which is one of the best soundtracks ever], so I guess a group of younger composers with a badass veteran leader could work nicely.

Those reports are 100% crap. The Wii U's GPU (Radeon R770) is much better than current generation hardware. Nintendo would have to, literally, go out of their way to make this weaker than both the PS3 and Xbox360, because the specs alone should render it more powerful just on Murphy's Law alone.

No, I can based upon the hardware alone. It is also funny how this article mentions no supporting fact or name other than a misused interpretation of the word "shader". It's like the author sat there and went to NeoGAF and pulled a few facts out of the air and decided to troll everyone. Plus this report came out right around April 1st. Really people? We have specific developers on record saying the Wii U is on par, if not better. The Darksiders II developers would not be talking about the ease of transitioning the Xbox360 version to the Wii U architecture if they were not similar, let alone being the definitive version.

I'm not saying the Wii U is going to be 5x better than the 360 or PS3, not even saying it can't be on par, but it certainly isn't going to be inferior. I think everyone got taken for a ride by an April Fool's prank.

Kid Icarus Uprising had a good opening in Japan (a little over 130K). The question remains whether the game will have any kind of legs. Supposedly its getting good word of mouth. Sakurai did say that Uprising's reception would be a determinant for how he would follow through on Smash 4.
