I actually think Rosalina is a bit heavier than Peach, but only because she looks about 5'10 or so (I think Mewtwo is about 5'10 or 5'11). Mewtwo, IMO, should be heavier than every character in Brawl not named Ganondorf of Bowser (maybe Donkey Kong can be heavier). He should just either lack a kill move, have a lot of after lag, or lack combos as a "weakness."

And a funny note: Charizard actually is suppose to be like 5'6 or 5'8 or something, and weigh around 160 pounds.
Mewtwo is supposed to be 6'7" in the RPGs, but it appears shorter than Ganondorf in Melee. If anything, for Smash 4, Mewtwo should probably rival Ganondorf's height, and maybe even Palutena's height. This would probably make it taller than Rosalina by a couple inches. Now, I may not know Waluigi's actual height, but Rosalina does come close to rivaling it.

On a side note, I did input Emboar rivaling Donkey Kong's weight, but it is only 5'3" in the RPGs. But it can easily be resized to rival Bowser's size if need be.

I remember someone mentioning a shield idea. Maybe I got the name wrong. (also, Impa is not a popular idea because of someone else on here) :awesome: And I think the Ice Climbers should pretty much continue being what they are in Brawl and Melee. I think they should take elements of it, but not the whole thing. I'm neutral like I am with everything.
You're thinking of Impa's barrier in Squidward Sword.

I think the whole chain grabbing thing's got to go. It's a degenerate tactic, meaning it trumps all other options and it's most definitely not fair.

Don't say that. He might get the Ridley treatment. :troll:
Don't say that PoppyBro, or else I will lower your level to "Poppy Hoe." :bee:
As someone who is not too familiar with Dixie Kong, what abilities does she have aside from her helicopter hair?
Well her hair can carry things, throw things, etc. I would imagine she would have a move where she spawns barrels (or some sort of weapon) and throws them with her hair... kinda like King Dedede's forward B (except no barrels and other such items instead of common Kirby series enemies). Dixie could use her hair to help her recover and to attack. As for the rest of her move set, it would be a similar style and kind of moves to/as Diddy Kong's (probably very few borrowed moves) but it would work completely different and act completely differently.

Also shortie, your Dixie Kong special moves ideas were excellent. WTF is with you pulling out all these great posts out of your butt son=???
And maybe DKC was misunderstood by the Japanese cause of bad localisation? I'd think that DKC would be the first big foreign project for Nintendo maybe. So they probably where not as adapted translating Rare's dry British humour in DKC to Japanese. Just a theory though.
You're probably right with the localization of DKC. I mean, how often does Nintendo translate a game from English to Japanese=??? Still, from what I've read the 3 DKC games have sold pretty well on the Virtual Console in Japan, and Returns sold ridiculously well in Japan.

@ Kuma
Chain grabbing like the Wombo Combo (except maybe like at 100%+) is fine by me. Before that, anything more than 3 grabs or does more than 20% and isn't situational needs to go. I think the Ice Climbers should, however, have a good tech chase grab/combo thing going for them like in Melee and Brawl. That's part of what makes them exciting characters to watch.

It's kind of funny how we barely post in the 3ds Sm4sh discussion while the Wii U one is so active.

That's why I suggested the Blizzard Ring. It would retain the spirit of the chain grabs in a less bull****ty context.

BTW, I'm fine with loops if there's a predefined limit so that it's not an infinite. For example, in SFxTK King has a deliberately designed Knee loop where he can juggle up to four times. Xiaoyu has a rather nasty and difficult loop that can dish out 400 damage easily if all six reps are done and it's typically combo'd into since it requires a ground bounce/juggle to pull it off or as an anti-air.

People tend to discuss about both games down here, by instinct.

I think the main reason for that is the fact that the concept of how the game will look and feel in a portable is a complete mistery to everybody.

PS: Am I the only one who thinks Pit should get a secret taunt to talk with Palutena/the other gods from Uprising in a Snake's codec-like conversation?

That, and the fact that most gamers tend to like home consoles better and that the Wii U version is said to have a bit more focus on multiplayer than the 3DS version.

I agree with K.Rool at the top, not sure what I think about the rest of the list though lol.

I felt bored and did a few size comparisons.

If we go by that Meta Ridley in the picture above, Samus would be eye level with him, which I beleive was the ideal concept, right?

If Palutena was in the game, she'd have to be at least Ganondorf size next to Pit. This is because Palutena has typically been an Amazonian woman size, amirite?

Tails would be perfect at Diddy Kong size when next to Sonic.

King K. Rool, if we account for DK typically being smaller in his playable roles within the games, could ideally work at being Bowser's height, by that, I mean the tip of the tallest spike on Bowser's shell being the same height as the tip of the end of Rool's crown. Or, it could be a little taller.

Mewtwo should be around Snake's height next to Lucario.

Agreements with this?
No one has anything to say on this?

I really can't see K.Rool being heavier than Bowser. The ole' Koopa's got the shell. The shell must weight a ton.

PS: New new avatar. Quite fancy, indeed.
K. Rool has a metal belly, BUT it all depends on how Sakurai sizes him up I guess. K. Rool is pretty massive, or has the potential to be.

Sluggers, I think had K. Rool decently smaller than Bowser though.

Truly outrageous avatar, Sol. I think Ridley will be heaviest followed by K. Rool and Bowser.

Ridley seems too boney though, wouldn't you say? I'd say Ridley would be lighter than even Bowser, but it's also dependent on his actual size. Plus, if Ridley is going to fly with as much agility as he does, wouldn't he need to be on the light side?

Given his likely size, a heavy weight seems logical just for balancing reasons.
I see your point now. It would be rather crippling for Ridley to be a large target that's as light as, say, Kirby. Well, I guess I'm exaggerating with the Kirby comparison. But I would still imagine Ridley being lighter than Bowser. Still a super heavyweight, but in the same way they did with Snake, wouldn't he?

Ohhh, how did I miss that reference? I like Jem. XD

Chapter 14)We finally meet up with Link who is walking though a Japanese forest (bamboo everywhere). Subspace foes attack. He rips though them, but when two of them try to sneak up on him, Takamaru shows up to finish them off. The two make their way though the forest. At the end, they see a sight of Bowser's Castle.

Chapter 15)Marth and Zelda are outside the gates to the castle. Below though, they see Marth attacking the guards outside. But he can't get though the now sealed heavy door. That is where Ike comes in, flexing his muscles, and breaks it down. Marth is a little agitated, but he follows the other two in. At the end, they make it to Bowser's throne room.

Chapter 16)Link and Takamaru go though a lava field and around the back side of the castle. They manage to break in the back and into Bowser's throne room. In trouble, he pulls a lever and a large Bowser Mech with Bowser Jr inside attacks. The 5 of them defeat it. They see that Bowser is gone, but a path opened behind his throne

Chapter 17)Bowser teleports back to the ship where Medusa and King K. Rool are waiting. Soon after though, small mysterious ships surround them. They attack and are soon boarded. The three make a mad dash to get off the ship. At the end, they are met with Mewtwo, who attacks them. Afterwards, Medusa sicks her underworld forces at them though a dark portal. As they fly off, more underworld forces try to buy time. Mewtwo is then revived by none other than Ganondorf, who gives a stern look. They move to the control room, and their ship is seen along side Meta-Knight's.

Chapter 18)Saki, Kind Dedede, and Meta-Knight are now in the mountains, and see both the enemies ship and his own. Next to them is a fallen Arwing. They are ambushed by a boss. It's Heavy Lobster, who is now under the control the the mysterious forces. Fox jumps out and joins the fight. Afterwards, he receives a message of some kind, with the other three staring at him and wondering what it's about. They finally reach the top and are greeted by the Great Fox. (BTW, it's a rocky mountain)

Chapter 19)DK, Dixie and Diddy found a giant factory after they beat their last level. They now go into it. Turns out the shadow bugs came from here. They confront Medusa, Bowser, and King K Rool who just escaped. At this point, you can chose who you want to fight with and you duke it out with he 3 of them. (If playing with 1 person, they fight one at a time. With 2 players, they fight two at a time). Either way, the mysterious foes attack. The team who won takes the three trophies as well as a yellow glass tube (that is big enough to hold a trophy huh). As the factory is lifted into the sky, Palutena's and Peach's trophies fall to the ground below.

From here on, the subspace foes are gone. I didn't mention, but you also fight foes from Mario, DK, Kid Icarus, and Kirby. Maybe more, like Zelda. It depends on the level. DK levels have DK enemies. Bowser's enemies appear in his castle and the sewer levels. You see Underworld troops during Pit's level's

Chapter 20)In Mario's last level, they found a strange platform. They step onto it and are soon it turns into an elevator which brings them down into a weird fortress (think Pandora's Labyrinth if you've played KI:Uprising). After making it though, the heroes find a room with a weird computer like device. They find out more about the dimensional foes (shown to the player via one screen pictures). They soon see a canon like device and a pyramid. They rush over to a tram that leads them to their next destination

Chapter X2)Toon Link's ship is being attacked by Meta-Knight and the subspace ship, it soon is sunk with Toon Link sent into the ocean. We washes ashore where Jigglypuff find him. They go off together after the subspace ship.

Chapter 21)Pokemon Trainer and Squirtle are in trouble. They are being attacked by mysterious foes (need a name for them). A vision of the future appears. Shulk rushes over to attack them before defeating Squirtle. The two then go off to fight more of them. They eventually reach a beanstalk like structure. Pokemon Trainer points to it and Shulk follows.

Chapter 22)Luigi is just whistling his way though a forest along when Dimension troop attack him. With Peach and Palutena trophies fall to the ground. He quickly awakens them and hides behind him. They defeat the foes. At the end of their level, Palutena looks around and points ahead, Peach nods and follows, but sees Luigi trying to sneak off. She give him a stern look and he follows along.

When. I have more ideas, but, another time. In a lot of ways, I'm just beginning. Not sure how realistic a story mode this size could be.
Gonna keep going I guess. Wonder if anyone else sees this. Probably too busy talking about Dixie Kong.

Chapter 23)Pokemon Trainer and Shulk climb to the sky garden where they find Ivysaur and Charizard (who they fight again). But this time, they also meet up with Ridley, who attacks them. Turns out he is under the dimensional force's control. He is beaten, and flies off. The two look towards the large island in the sky.

Chapter 24)Palutena, Luigi, and Peach are on a long, forgotten highway. Luigi is tired :(. They are then ambushed by dimension troops. Then, out of nowhere, Captain Falcon scream by and saves the day with a Falcon Punch. He then gives a salute. Peach and Palutena swoon and Luigi looks not pleased. Palutena points the way and the four continue.

Chapter 25)Wario is running down the desert in his chopper, headed to a Pyramid in the distant. He is then met up with Samurai Gohor. They duke it out and then crash. The two both get up and run towards the pyramid. You can still use both.....

Chapter 26)The Great Fox confronts the Halberd. Fox and Falco go off and attack the ship. They soon land on it with Saki, Dedede and Meta-Knight. The three move towards the main deck. They are then meet with Wolf who jumps off his Wolfen. He then lays a device which creates a dimensional Wolf (who is stronger). He fights them. After the fight, he joins with you.

Chapter 27)Ike, Marth, Link, Sheik and Takamaru are messing with the teleporter. Ike gets mad and punches it, which messes it up and sends them back onto the Subspace ship. It is now twisted and warped. They must fight though it and then fight Mewtwo as well as a copy of him. After beating him, the knock Mewtwo into the reactor, and the ship goes haywire. The team find the Halberd outside below them. The 5 of them jump off and onto the bridge of the Halberd.

Chapter 28)Mario, Pit, Yoshi and Kirby make it to the Pyramid. But the door is shut. Soon Goroh and Wario come by. The two decide to smash he door down and the 6 go inside. They find the cannon at the end, but are stopped by a boss. They defeat him, but Goroh makes off with it in his Fiery Stingray. The others chase after him.

Chapter 29)Olimar's ship is under attack by the dimensional forces. It's shot down (only to be latched onto by the dimensional island) and Olimar falls down onto a mountain. He is then meet with Ice Climbers. The two head up the mountain. At the top, they see the island in the distance. Lucario meditates by himself and remains there, but Ridley attacks. He leaps forwards to help the two. They defeat him and he is free of the dimensional control. He then looks to the island and roars (or shrieks). Lucario, Olimar and Ice Climbers jump on his back towards the island.

Enough for now. It's getting more convoluted with so many small parties. I will say that the game works in that the dimensional forces are quite strong, stronger than most foes. They don't really appear till later because of it. Levels like the desert don't have them. You'll still see enemies from others series as well. The Halberd has Kirby enemies as does the desert. Ice Climber's level has enemies from the same game.

I'd move Ridley down one. He should ideally be a fast hit and run character, and would need to be lighter than all other characters his size for balancing. Threw in King Hippo too, since he should take the spot for heaviest if he were to appear.

1.King Hippo
2.K.Rool
3.Bowser
4.D.K.
5.Dedede
6.Ridley

Why is Dedede lighter than Donkey Kong? I also imagine Ridley being heavier than DK. I do see Ridley as a speedy character for a heavyweight, but not too much so where he can't be heavy and large at the same time, don't you think? I will say I agree with King Hippo's weight placement. You really nailed that one.

1. Bowser (Unless it's just for the sake of balance, Bowser should always be the biggest and heaviest character)
2. King K. Rool
3. Donkey Kong
4. Swapping Snake with Ganondorf
5. King Dedede
6. Charizard
7. Moving Samus up to where Snake was, and suggesting Ridley be at MOST equally heavy with her.
8. Snork.
9. Yoshi, Wario, Palutena, and Goroh?

Am I the only one who thinks Snake should be lighter, but a bit faster? I would main him if he didn't feel so sluggish.

I would like him to be about the same weight as Ike, maybe a LITTLE heavier, but certainly not as heavy as he is now.

I wonder if ChronoBound will cry when he finally gets to play as Ridley. He has waited so long to see his dream come true. I'm just imagining it. He'll unlock Ridley, ready to play as him. But he can't play as him just yet, as he can't help his tears from falling onto his controller.

^ Exactly.

As a huge fan of the Metal Gear series (played all of the games in the series, even Metal Gear NES) I couldn't understand why the hell he is so heavy in Brawl, in the MGS games he feels agile and stealthy, as was the games intention.

I say Link / C.Falcon'a weight would be best for him. Wouldn't mind seeing Snake heavily revamped either.

I can't recall how heavy Link/C.Falcon are at the moment but it seems about right to me, Snake needs a big revamp in my opinion.

I might just as well. Ridley is truly one of my favorite video game characters of all time and definitely my favorite video game villain, and I have been personally dreaming of playing as him for over a decade (I even had hopes of him someday being playable before the Melee unveil). If Ridley was in Brawl, I don't think I would have even be interested in Smash 4. No newcomer will make me as excited for Smash 4 as Ridley will.

Pokémon Black 2 & White 2 - Kyurem Types

Amazon Japan has posted imaghes of covers of two cases coming to Japan featuring Black Kyurem & White Kyurem. These cases confirm that the types retain Kyurem's Dragon/Ice type despite the massive changes. It also confirms the height and weight. Black Kyurem stands at 3.3m and 325kg while White Kyurem stands at 3.6m and 325kg.

Incidentally, Famitsu is hinting about a new Pokémon being revealed next week. Japan often states new forms to be new Pokémon so this could be the reveal in Smash tomorrow

EDIT: Genesect... Come on...

If your favorite character of all time is already in, what indeed should you wish for next you might ask?

Brace for it

Impa. :awesome:

Cause as much as talking about (highly deserving) additions of the same series as your favorite character (see username) you'll sometimes get bored.
