Considering some of use here have been doing this pre-SSB4 circus for several years now it is pretty freaking hard to talk about something that hasn't been discussed before. Nothing new under the sun.

Also, most people do not want to discuss gameplay because people either do not care about the game that seriously or they like the way the games operate as is. At least this is what my eyes behold.

Although talking about characters we're not going to get is fun, there's another thing I've been thinking about, and that is potential new mechanics and stuff. One thing I wouldn't be surprised to see is a true 3D game. Not like Brawl where we just have 3D graphics, but actually play in 3D, like Kid Icarus. Sakurai said he was going to take what he learned from Uprising, so maybe that's what he meant. Just a thought.

I doubt ssb4 will be a full 3D game. As far as I know it's unprecedented in any fighting game and it would significantly change the way the game plays possibly alienating fans.

By 3D basically they mean that you can move around in all directions as opposed to just side to side like in Smash
