New Smash Bros for WiiU

Yeah, but a lot of people like that on sites like IGN also tend to want every Mario character ever. Waluigi, Daisy, Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Rosalina, Toadette, Bowser's kids from Super Mario Bros. 3, that one random character that spoke 3 lines in that one Mario game, etc.

Heck, on Smash Boards there was a joke movement to make Mr. L a playable character (in reality, we just wanted an alternate costume of him. Meanwhile on IGN (or at least I think it was IGN), there was a serious movement to "push" Sakurai to make Mr. L playable.

Many of said supporters even wanted Mr. L to replace Luigi, and felt it was a likely possibility! It was simply organized chaos...

Mr. L inclusion process:
1. Get Paper Mario.
2. Get Paper Luigi.
3. Make Mr. L and Brobot PL's Final Smash.

That's all. Except a costume for PL.

In terms of every Mario character out there, Bowser Jr. and Toad are pretty much the biggest competitors. Of course, I would be happy if Rosalina somehow makes it as a playable.

Well the way I see it, Doc can just be like an AT or stage hazard or something. CLASSIC DOC, NOT MELEE DOC. Then there's just Mario and PM, so no problem. PM has infinitely more moveset choices and personality than Doc, anyway.

Sakurai is a freaking genius. Poor Medusa's story seems like such a small portion of the overall story. It's getting to be like a FF/DQ type plot now.

Luigi sounded way too timid in Brawl. His Melee counterpart sounds much more courageous, even though his Melee voice is just Mario's voice at a higher pitch level.

But I guess if Luigi's Mansion wants attention, Luigi has to show his cowardly side.

At this point the spoilers aren't helping at all, not very many games have this many twists and turns to their storyline.

See now, I don't get this. Mr. L is a Paper Mario exclusive, and has no correlation to regular Luigi. The only way we'll get Mr. L is if Paper Mario gets in, gets his own series icon, and gets his own trophy catergory. THEN we can speculate on more Paper Mario characters, which would probably lead to either Paper Luigi or Paper Bowser. IF PL gets in, THEN we get a Mr. L costume.

And quite frankly, Sakurai doesn't care about "oh that fits into the canon Mario category" or "that fits into the Paper Mario category" like some of you guys tend to think. Plus, it's really, really, really easy to do!

Although Sakurai, like most of us, don't give two craps about Mario spin-off games that aren't related to Kart racing.

Also, Luigi's sweet spot for his up B is awesome (although I think it could use more range, but not as badly as Jiggel's rest in Melee).

Is like if we only knew about Young Link's story prior to Ocarina of Time releasing. It seems as though Medusa loses her primary villain status for Uprising half way or 2/3 of the way through the game.

Palutena's banter with Pit throughout the entirety of Uprising, and her exposure throughout the entire game is basically going to make her the "duh" choice for a Kid Icarus newcomer. Medusa is still going to have a lot of people requesting her, but I strongly doubt that she is going to be added in light of the story revelations.

Honestly(and yes, I did mean what disfunk said), if it was going to happen, it probs would've been in Brawl. They're apparently easy to make, and SPM came out April 19, 2007 in Japan. Plenty of time.

Okay, from all the spoiling I done to myself I've come to the conclusion has done the most amazing work of art of video gaming I've seen in a long time.

He has added elements from every single Nintendo (main) series it seems. Taking all the positives and throwing the KI spin on it to make a great game. I hope gaming can see a huge turn around to going up in quality like it did in the 90's after KI release.

This makes me wonder what possibly will Sakurai come up with for SSB4. Until now I've never really was in the man's grasp but now Sakurai has my complete attention.

Sure, if you can name one other regular Kid Icarus protagonist that you play as. Except, they don't exist. That's the reason why a villain is okay in this case.

If there's more playable protagonists, sure. Otherwise, Villain first, then we can talk about background characters. It'd be like adding Jody Summers before any possible villain in F-Zero. Or even a semi-villain.

Or, more key heroes that do something in various media. It took a bit before Palutena did something. Medusa did something from the start. That's why I prefer her first.

Zelda was added before Ganondorf. Remember, the clones for Melee were added when Sakurai and his team thought that the roster was too small and they realized they had enough time to add six clones.

It also helps that Kid Icarus is called Palutena's Mirror in Japan. She is basically the Zelda of Kid Icarus.
