It's funny, but that pic reminds me of a situation that happened in one of the mangas I'm currently reading. Thinking about it now, Palutena acts/has the exact same personality as the goddess in that manga as well. lol

I am definitely leaning much towards Palutena, solely for her personality. I am not a supporter of either goddess yet, and I probably won't be until I play through Uprising.

I want both, and if Palutena can have an attack similar to Sheik's Needles and we have Impa around, I just don't want Sheik back in anyway.

Lucario and Ike should stay though imo, though both need work.

I think Medusa offers more than Paluenta.

1. She would be the only female villain.

2. Petrification would be a first for a move (I am speculating that a character named Medusa will turn people into stone). Once a character turns into a statue, she can try to push them towards the ledge for a fast-falling KO.

3. She contrasts Pit (Paluenta, on the other hand, shares many traits with Pit). Dark vs Light.

I can possibly see three Fire Emblem, but even that is a streeeeeeeeeech.

I hope Sakurai focuses on new moves, playstyles, and mechanics before sinking the roster with continuous representation from series.

I think three characters for Kid Icarus would be too much if the man-in-charge was not Sakurai (in both Smash and Kid Icarus).

Still, I would wager one more rep.

I think Medusa offers more to Smash, but I would not put it past Sakurai to choose Paluenta over Medusa.
