But seriously, Tingle has the potential to be unique, and he is an important Nintendo character overall, since he has his own games and appears in several Zelda games. And with his balloons, there wouldn't be any need to have the generic Balloon Fighter as a character.

He might have a good chance. I have a feeling that a lot of the characters that were assist trophies in the last game have a good chance of being playable in SSB4.

-Sakurai considers Child Link the true Link. So the chances of him being dropped are zilch.
-Link(regular) is one of the original 12. So he won't get dropped either(although in Sakurai's eyes, he'd be more likely, since he's only in there for tradition)
-Toon/Young Link's specials are the same as Link under the "tradition clause". Only their A moves have a good chance of being different. You can also apply these to the Space Furries.

As for Toon Ganondorf, he's the only Ganondorf I can actually care about. Looks cool, two swords(unique), WW was popular as hell, and he was far stronger than the OOT or TP versions. He's the best one to me.

Spread Weavel around and read up on him sometime if you like. This guy is seriously packing more tricks then the rest of the hunters.
The gameplay potential with his is so vast!!!! And he even has a motorcycle!
Ridley and weavel would be enough for metroid side, Unless they wanted to add more hunters like Sylux.

It is interesting to note that when you beat metroid prime 3 and get 100% and her ship takes off.

Now if you played metroid prime 3 you would know the federation has taken a pretty big hit at the time and Sylux despises the federation and uses there stolen prototype gear. This would be the perfect time for him to strike.

I'm not familiar with Captain N, although seeing from the wikipedia page, it seems quite weird.

I know SSB know about the hunters, And I do think one of them will end up showing up. People want more metroid characters and Ridley,Sylux and Weavel were most talked about.

On another note, I wish Sakurai would have added Diddy Kong in Melee, and both Dixie Kong and King K. Rool in Brawl. So now we could get to play as Cranky in SSB4.

If Sakurai can't get Ridley to work, then Mother Brain and Kraid are probably out too.

Alot of ppl in power were pushing for it, It was very surprising to get them talked down by the populace.
