Technically Lucario was revealed in Febuary 2005, Brawl's development started in October 2005. Diamond and Pearl Versions were also announced in late 2004.

I know Munchlax was revealed before any news on D/P, but I'm pretty sure Lucario was as well.

Hmm... I think I'll consider him. Victini still seems more interesting to me though. And there hasn't been a Pokemon from the 3rd Gen yet, so Deoxys could be interesting for that.

Victini's a great choice for SSB4.

Anyways, Ridley has been "slow" before. I mean, looking at various fights with him on YouTube, he doesn't seem all that fast.

For the record, I always hated that Ganondorf fights like Captain Falcon. It makes no sense, and obvously happend because they rushed him in there. Especially when you consider that his OoT incarnation has him using projectiles that could easily be turned into a Neutral B move.

Ugh... I should stop there. I could rant about Ganondorf for hours.

Yeah, I hate the fact that Ganondorf is a Captain Falcon clone too. I want Ganon to have an entirely new moveset for Smash 4 and they could either transfer his old moveset to Black Shadow or drop the moveset completely.

Here's my list of characters who need tending to for SSB4 fan standards:

1: Ganondorf
2: Bowser
3: PKMN Trainer
4: Lucario

Lucario mainly because (B)^ and (B)v are useless.

I don't want Ganondorf to have a sword as his main weapon. I'd prefer if he used magic like in OOT. He can still have a special which brings out his sword.

Or better yet, you could choose to fight with his sword or not. Whenever you want his sword you would press Down B and he picks it, and when you don't want the sword anymore, just press Down B again and he will take it out.
