Actually I think WiFi was his way of addressing that reality, setting aside implementation. While this is true, not everyone has people to play Smash with, which is something Sakurai tried to address in Brawl by making that in depth Adventure Mode.Still though, It would have to take a lot in order to make the single player experience the selling point of the 3DS version considering Super Smash Bros is better known for it's multiplayer experience.
Well Damn.
It depends on what exactly the money is spent on. But like you said this is another topic for another day.Being fiscally irresponsible collectively is what has run this economy into the mud alongside a myriad of other national decisions over the past two and a half decades. That, however, is for another class at another time. For me though I will likely just pick up the Wii U version since I have friends and family I can play with.

Now that makes sense.
Then read again. Very carefully, because you clearly don't know what I said. Crap doesn't sell well enough. They step it up, or they lose and go Third Party. A Hard Drive won't cost them more than making 400 dollars at most. And guess what? People'll pay that much for a high quality system.Basically what I'm getting from you, Hyper, is that you don't like the Wii U, and you are polluting everything you say with the fact that you hold some odd ill feelings toward it. I don't have to put words in your mouth, as it's so full of doom and gloom that there's no room.
Which won't keep them afloat if only some people like the games. Putting in enough specs will get you the same games, and other people more. Everybody should win, not a select few people.I like Nintendo, games, thank you very much. I don't give a sh*t if you think their quality isn't great or whatever you said, because they continue to make things that I enjoy.
Which won't happen if their system tanks. They've been behind since the n64. Always because of lack of what the other competitors have. Then Sony went and heavily improve on the motion gameplay. Nintendo had nothing but a few 1st party games to go back on. No matter how much it sucks, they have to step it up, or they won't stay in the game. It's not hard for them to just put a simple hard drive in, really. HD alone won't do a thing. It's the content that people want the most of. HD also won't give long FMV's that people eat up.At the end of the day, Nintendo will keep doing what they do, and I'll keep enjoying their games and systems. Sorry for any inconvenience.
You on now?? I can play.wanna vs me Diddy? I'll play Pikachu this time
So you're saying Smash should play like other fighting games then?Which won't happen if their system tanks. They've been behind since the n64. If Nintendo doesn't put more work into it, they won't stay 1st Party. This is pretty much their last chance to actually keep up as a 1st Party Developer.
???*fart noise*
Thank you. Failure to reply is a conceding.I concede.
That's my go to for, "No longer participating in this argument."???
So what are we exactly talking about...
Too bad I don't have my (good) Wii with me, I'd love to show off some of my Pikachu skills.![]()
Yeah make the game now and I'll join (don't want to fill up the thread like last timeYou on now?? I can play.![]()
*shrugs*???

Good point.*shrugs*
I noticed there are like six stages in Brawl that were ripped directly from a Gamecube game.
Ah. That's odd. I wonder why he had to rip them instead of remaking them...Hyper not the past courses. Iirc sakurai said on the dojo he had to remake temple and that it wasnt exactly the same

His specials need work, but I think you hit the nail on the head with the power in his normals. One of the first things I noticed when I first played Sonic was how hard it was to really lay on the damage. He definitely needs more killing power. His specials need some work along with the power in his normals unless they intend to change the game up big time that would call for major changes for everyone.
No they were new stages.@Star: Past courses? Or do you mean something else?
There wasn't a lot of time to make Brawl, so redesigning the courses would take longer.
I spied with my little eye six stages that looked kind of similar to their Gamecube incarnations. Delfino Plaza, Port Town, Smashville, Frigate Orpheom. Distant Planet and Bridge of Eldin looked pretty close to their Gamecube incarnations. It makes me wonder to myself what stages might Sakurai just borrow in the next game? Probably all Wii games. WuHu Island, Skyloft, Starship Mario, etc.Good point.
Now that you mention it though, some stages were just plain ripped. Of course, the only ones I can think off the top of my head are Delfino Plaza and Port Town.
Maybe not Smashville because it was based more on Wild World, but yeah, looking back Sakurai has been ripping stages like that since the very begining.I spied with my little eye six stages that looked kind of similar to their Gamecube incarnations. Yeah. It does not really mean much of anything. It is just one of those factoids that make you stop and go "huh, never noticed." It is also why I think a Sin and Punishment: Star Successor stage is likely.Maybe not Smashville because it was based more on Wild World, but yeah, looking back Sakurai has been ripping stages like that since the very begining.

I want King K. Rool and a Dixie/Kiddy team for Smash 4. Two reps just don't cut it when you know the DKC trilogy was a really, really big deal.I just completely finished Donkey Kong Country 3 GBA. Unlike the other two GBA DKC ports, this one actually had some positives to it. First off, it has six new levels and a new boss fight. The second major point is that its soundtrack was done by David Wise, the composer for the first DKC titles. While its definitely not Wise's best work, there were quite a few nice tunes he did for this one. Overall, I would still say that the original SNES version of DKC3 is superior.
Here are some of the best tracks from GBA DKC3:

On a side note, did you know that DKC3 sold over 1.7 million in just Japan alone? The DKC trilogy was really, really big.
Really I must be DESTINIED to hate Sheik. Yani can tell why lol
What... That sucks... Well, maybe I'm just gettin' antsy is all.No news.

I'm trying soooo hard to load it up. My smelly stinky poo poo internet connection is going as slow as it possibly can right now...@Chrono: Go to Nintendo Video. One of the Kid Icarus anime is up.
There is no Impa reference. My Brawl disk had an error while fighting Yani online because I switched from Sheik to Zelda :/What... That sucks... Well, maybe I'm just gettin' antsy is all.
B2&W2 have been comfirmed for June 2 in Japan, btw.
So, how ya'll been... *Sees the Impa reference* ...What a great time to be here -.-
Don't need to bring back all past stages. Maybe just 10-15 past stages from Brawl (no 64 and Melee stages) and about 30-45 brand new stages would suffice.Speeeeaking of stages, what is the stage roster total that most find reasonable (past stages included)?
Brawl had 41 (31 new, 10 Melee), so mid or high 50s sound about right? Maybe bring back stages from all Smash Bros. games to help up the total?
As long as they finally make a Bowser's Castle stage I will be happy.Speeeeaking of stages, what is the stage roster total that most find reasonable (past stages included)?
