So his original name was gonna be Terios?

Why did they change it to Shadow?

The Brawl poll was never released to the public. Sakurai had revealed that Sonic was the runaway highest vote getter.

The Melee poll was released. I believe Peach, Bowser, and Mewtwo were all in the Top Three.

As I mentioned with Other M Samus possibly being a deconstruction of the silent protagonist, Pacman in SFxTK could be a darker take on a character whose sole purpose is to consume.

Drat. I was wondering because, apparently, Muddy got a mention, and was curious about what was said.

I managed to find one possible answer, but I cannot confirm its legitimacy. I feel that it could help his case.

But anywho, I was wondering, do you guys find my mentioning of Muddy Mole to be an annoyance like Impa was to some? If so, I won't mention him as much. I honestly wasn't trying to make him an Impa. ^_^'

Honestly I like your mentioning of Muddy Mole Oppossum. You do it just enough. Not just do I like the idea of a random "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?!?!?" character, but you aren't expecting him, and you are really the only person hyping him. Plus, you get to be our cute, little, and funny "Muddy Mole" guy. I was that guy with Toon Link pre-Brawl!

When I go on GameFAQs, IGN, Nsider, Game Trailers, Game Spot, etc. everyone is all "mroe Zelda reps" and "smash is about reps" and "Impa, Impa, Impa replace Sheik." Ironically, these are the same people who pre-Brawl probably said that characters like Captain Olimar had "no chance of being playable over the likes of Waluigi." Yes, someone on IGN once straight up said that to me pre-Brawl.

It would take a lot of nagging to turn Muddy into Impa. But even then, Muddy stands out as the better character.

Pre-Brawl were some strange times. I mean, who in their right mind would argue AGAINST Diddy? Olimar? King Dedede? Also everybody was a clone back then. "Ridley would be a Bowser clone." "Dedede would be a Kirby clone."

I know little about Muddy, and I do like -Fat- Impa(the most). But eh.

Overall, a new series is more preferred. The Zelda series has every core character gotten, so it doesn't need a single thing more. At best, I could see Vaati or Ganon(as in the non-human), and maybe Skull Kid since they're all major antagonists. But beyond that... the rest are secondaries.
