I've been hearing about Kyurem and an alternate form, but this is rather surprising, to say the least. The two forms do make me wonder about how they would be implemented onto Kyurem, if it's used as an Adventure Mode boss.

Maybe for one example, you first face Kyurem in its basic form. After you defeat the basic form, one of the villains will resurrect it, and then give it either the Reshiram trophy, or the Zekrom trophy. This would result in you facing one of those two forms in a boss battle.

Now, whichever trophy that Kyurem gets would be determined by certain Adventure Mode events that occur before the Kyurem battle.

In The Arena, you'd only have to face one of the two forms, which is similar to how Galleom's battlefield can change with each Boss Battles run in Brawl.

I also doubt Meloetta is in the running despite being revealed this year. Meloetta's main appearance will be in the Pikachu short before the main movie. Regardless, I think Black & White 2 make it clear that the true faces of that arc are the Dragon Tao Trio, so it could very well be possible that Game Freak just allows Sakurai to bring back Mewtwo and keep the rest of Brawl's playable Pokemon.

That a funny idea Chrono, I believe Toise said that no Pokemon from the 5th Gen stood out as well. "Now hopes for Brawl roster and Mewtwo."

As a side note though, Kyurem and his new forms would make for a fun boss IMO.

They still might add a 5th gen instead though, one persons opinion wouldn't affect Sakurai tbh

Me neither. He's a speculator just like you and I. It's not like he's Fatman who started a character movement (Geno).

He's a lot like SmashChu in how they both have VERY aggressive personalities.

Not the way I fight with him. With ROB, the only B moves I really use are Neutral(LAZARS) and Up(Jets). And even then, sometimes I forget my LAZARS are charged.
