To continue with the the last post, I gotta get a feel for the characters before deciding to play them. A character like Duo Lon or Chin from KOF seem like logical picks yet I went for Athena, Yuri, and Daimon who are an annoying zoner, an Akuma with a dive kick, and a zoning grappler with frightening okizeme.
Those three just felt right. It also helps that all three can be annoying which is ultimately what I excel in. It also helps that I just like their designs, even Daimon's whose wardrobe. is unspeakably plain.

I should also mention that I will NOT be up for wi-fi matches. My college does not allow wi-fi for my Wii, but I might consider getting a USB to Ethernet adapter as I have the cable for my 360.

Zero Suit Samus is tough to master I've heard. Not that Diddy is really easy though. Still can't glide throw while under pressure... :/

I went and updated my first stage concept from back in July:
Based on the final stage from Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem and New Mystery of the Emblem: Heroes of Light and Shadow it's the Dragon's Altar!
Fighting takes place on the large stairs and stair railings, creating a simple stage about the size of Battlefield. I'd think of it as Shadow Moses with the Towers (railings) being only 1/6 as tall. With a WAY less hazardous Spear Pillar mixed in.
The lighting from this stage comes from the glowing torches on the pillars, the evil looking skulls, and eyes of the Dark Dragon himself!
As a stage hazard, Medeus occasionally summons his army of Earth Dragons (the brown ones) to attack Players.
When an Earth Dragon is to appear, Medeus's eyes flash, the stage will rumble and dragon skulls in the background will glow and come back to life. Once they have appeared, they will use the dragon breath to attack for high knockback and damage. They disappear when the stage lights up and are forced back.
In the background you also see the 3 Princesses (Nyna, Maria, and Marth's sister Elice) and the Priestess (Lena) standing next to Medeus becuase his minions have captured them. But they are in a deep hypnosis, so they don't do anything besides being eye candy.

Are the towers destroyable? I like the design, btw. Does anyone think there should be an option to turn off stage hazards?

I just remembered that I play my Wii on an HDTV (in 480i) so do you think it will lag much? This is why I can't wait to see the WiiU supporting HD so I can connect it to my monitor.

480i is fine. 720p or higher is when the lags starts.

I'd call them stair railings, and no they wouldn't be (looking back at my Wario stage concept, I can see the problem with that. lol)
Just more to go back and edit I guess, I'm thinking I didn't size them down enough when comparing them to SMI.

Anyways, again with the Sheik vs. Impa crap?
Here's a thought; how about we keep Sheik, then add Impa as a 5th character with her own moveset. She has shown to have abilities that Sheik lacks in Smash, so that would work out just fine.
The hundreds that would rather keep Sheik end up keeping Sheik, and the one that desperately wants Impa (as well as the few that legitimately want her for the sake of having her) gets Impa.
Everybody wins.
