Yeah, it was pretty boring, aside from matches one and three coming down to the wire. Ally (playing Snake) did a fTilt when it w as 2 vs 1 (each with one stock) instead of a fSmash when one of the opposing Meta Knights grabbed another. That would have been the greatest, clutch fSmash double kill ever... but instead, Ally lost.

Well do you have the link Horsetail=??? (it's on the top bar menu) I don't think it will work, because the Wii's video service stuff is out of date, but it doesn't hurt trying. I doubt you could get the chat working, even if you got the video working.

By the way, imagining Ridley making Brawl less lame makes watching these matches more bearable.

I'm still about 10 matches away from being caught up in Melee pools. Man Captain Jack is as much a captain of clutch as ever!

Also, it really sucks for Tehas. Romo got banged up and the boys eliminated, and now the Texans are playing with QB #3 on the Depth Chart, without Mario Williams, and with a gimp Andre Johnson. If it wasn't for that, they would probably be IMO the favorites to win it all! (not kidding) At least it makes for an interesting opening game to the playoffs...

I have said plenty of times before they Sakurai holding another poll would be a serious mistake considering most of the sensible characters have already gotten in as of Brawl, and thus we will probably have the likes of Waluigi hit the top of the polls.

Trolling is all you need to know about their suggestions. That and Air tripping.

IMO, Sakurai would be better off suggesting a large list of characters he approves and people pick you they like from it.

My predictions:

The Girl (even though this isn't a real category): Medusa if one of the previous two were revealed in Villains or Zoroark.
The 3rd Party: Mega Man or Layton.
The Retro Revival: Mach Rider.
The Hyped: Little Mac.
The Returnee: Mewtwo.

As for Sakurai poll, remember that this will be in Japan. Waluigi will be outnumbered by K. Rool, Mewtwo, Ridley, Mega Man, Little Mac, Isaac, and more and he'll consider the one at #1, which is looking to be Mewtwo.

I've never really seen Squirtle or Ivysaur at a high level of play, interesting stuff.

You can certainly learn a lot just by watching a couple of these matchs.
