Anyway, can't wait to see if Sonic is confirmed, that way a stage from Sonic Generations gets in, more specifically, The Great City Escape HD , Casino Park or perhaps the legendary Angel Island Zone, it would be perfect for either Modern Sonic.

Yeah, this will definetly be the case for me very soon, in January that is, I was only able to come today because I'm off work just today.

@Swayne: Yes, I have the upmost confidence that Sonic is very likely to return, seeing as he has somewhat become more Nintendo exclusive given alll the recent games that have been Wii exclusives, heck I have so much confidence that maybe even a 2nd rep could be considered? Of course it isn't likely but realistically speaking; seeing as SEGA already has existing negotiations with Sakurai and probably an on-going contract between both parties might still be in effect, it could very much happen if both parties agree upon it, this probably being Tails, but of course having only one rep from a said 3rd party franchise such as 'Sonic' should be enough to represent the franchise as more 3rd parties may "need" to occupy a roster since Sakurai will most likely have a limited number of slots.

Well, Of course Sonic isn't guaranteed to return, but I see it as "very likely" since he was previously in Smash, of course all that could change if neither SEGA or Sakurai want Sonic in Smash again or any 3rd party characters for that matter, also, I never said it will happen, I'm stating as a possibility that could happen, of course, it isn't so likely to but the fact that SEGA already has Sonic in Smash could mean something beyond? Even if that door is barely open.

Of course, all I want from the franchise is it's wonderful music and of course a stage to go along with modern Sonic.

As for the stages I'm not surprised, although I wish I wasn't the only one who wants Wii Sports Resort. As I doubt we'll get Mii's as characters due to what Sakurai has stated.

Also, to say the least, few of Brawl's stages enticed me. The Single Player only ones were better, imo.

For Sin & Punishment: Because Saki is a popular choice for a SSB4 newcomer. Metroid Other M isn't surprising since a big part of the fan base utterly loathe it.

It's too bad that Excitebots will probably not get a stage. Loved playing that game on the Wii and I feel as it is highly unappreciated.

Hmmmph... Sony is the last place I would go for a character crossover game.

I'm more interested in Cartoon PTE XL coming in about 10 days. It's supposed to be considerably bigger and badder, and with graphics akin to Wii.

Yeah Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion got dreadful reviews, basically everything was broken about it.

The Console version is looking very promising though. They took criticism from the first game, apparently, to make the console version. We'll just have to wait and see.

It looks a bit floaty, but nowhere near as bad as TMNT:Smash Up. And by floaty I mean ridiculously horizontal aereal movement.
