That's true. If only the original opening cutscene was put into the game. That's what hurt it.I actually agree with all of this, mire iconic bosses should have appeared like Mad King Ashnard with Rajaion would have been the perfect FE Boss along with the Black Knight seeing Ike was in the game, most of the genetic bosses could have been replaced with actual iconic ones, and to add to that more iconic environments wouldn't have hurt at all, it's strange since Sakurai was trying to appeal casuals, which I find ironic because it really didn't hit the nail on the spot, the storyline was lenghthy enough, but the plot setup was horrible.

If only RARE would be willing to... Fulgore for the win! I don't care if he's a Shoto Clone. He'd be original overall. Great moves are available for him. Actually, somebody should work on a Killer moveset to satisfy my Instinct.Yup, Killer instict would have been epic.
Yep. That's why we haven't had a chance to see it on the VC or any new Nintendo appearances. It's too bad we can't see it on XBox Live either.^^lol..is Killer instinct owned by RARE?

Yeah I got the joke, and I played off it. By hating myself for not owning Killer Instinct yet. That's true. If only the original opening cutscene was put into the game. That's what hurt it.

...Oh, god, that was terrible.
It was a joke Try-Hyphen. Killer Instinct and Kid Icarus have the same initials. Just like StarFox and Street Fighter. Hence the "awesome" icon. I kind of even put the "/Troll" up there to signify that.
I meant Earthworm Jim, Star got it.Who's Jim? Keep in mind I pay more attention to the Mario series first.
Meh, from what I've heard most Rare games in recent years have sucked. Rare was in it's glory days with Nintendo so if anything we should be laughing at them.Wow, I bet Microsoft is laughing at us Nintendo nerds, I so missed out on it.

Groovy.I want Earthworm Jim in Super Smash Bros. 4! People say they want a surprise. How about a worm in a suit with a big cartoony, red blaster? Man, I wish I had my paint software on my new laptop. I would whip out some EWJ gear.
- Kraid (Metroid)So which bosses would everyone like to see?
Now that is quality stuff there! Freaking yeah man, udder annihilation!Groovy.
His FS can be the cow.![]()
Indeed, you should definetly do some works of art since Hex hasn't been here for quite some whileI want Earthworm Jim in Super Smash Bros. 4! People say they want a surprise. How about a worm in a suit with a big cartoony, red blaster?

Apparently, the last good Rare games were Viva Piñata, and Kameo. Everything else just went to crap. I mean Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts N Bolts was a really hype game. It was like, finally, the bear and bird are back... and the game sucked. That's why, as much as I'd like to see another Killer Instinct game, I just fear Rare might butcher the living hell out of it.Meh, from what I've heard most Rare games in recent years have sucked. Make it Ray (save Rex for Snake's FS).- Kraid (Metroid)
- Giygas (Earthbound/Mother 2)
- Majora (TLoZ: Majora's Mask)
- Marx (Kirby Super Star)
- Metal Gear Rex/Ray (Metal Gear Solid/Metal Gear Solid 2)
- Giratina (Pokémon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum)
- Volvagia (Zelda 2/TLoZ: Ocarina of Time)
- Thunderbird (Zelda 2)
Those are just a few of what I would like to see. The chances of them actually making it as bosses might depend on their relevance, but that's about it.
KI Gold is hard to find on the n64, the rest are fairly common. Game Boy, SNES, n64. The Game Boy version is pretty terrible, but it's generally fun to goof around with 80 hit combos.Yeah I got the joke, and I played off it. By hating myself for not owning Killer Instinct yet.
Also, yes. That was terrible.
From what I hear, Rare has been trolling at KI3 for quite a while.Apparently, the last good Rare games were Viva Piñata, and Kameo. Everything else just went to crap. Really? From what I hear from Screwattack, KI is awesome. Oh well, I wasn't going to buy it anyway.KI Gold is hard to find on the n64, the rest are fairly common. Game Boy, SNES, n64. The Game Boy version is pretty terrible, but it's generally fun to goof around with 80 hit combos.
And it's okay. Trust me, they're not beyond awesome. They're closer to Clayfighter in that they're kind of meh fighters. Just like Dark Rift, Sonic the Fighters, and other some "meh" ones.
They're like the Quest 64 of fighters, they just have some meme status.
Ahh, that's where you're technically wrong, my friend. "Barba" was the English name given in the US release, while the original Japanese name was "Volvagia". I believe there were some translation issues when dealing with the English name.@Sol Diviner: Contrary to popular belief, Volvagia originated in OoT. The one in AoL is called Barba or Barbaros. I forgot which name. It did inspire Volvagia, though.
Yeah, they joked about KI3 earlier. I think they would do it if Microsoft would let them. I say they should go back to Nintendo, honestly. They're more open. From what I hear, Rare has been trolling at KI3 for quite a while.

LOL Imatating Chaos, much there, Metal Sonic? As for an Adventure Mode boss... there is no other option but:

Holy ****!!!-Mewtwo, in a cape, stares at an abondoned tower, known as the Melee Tower, which was left to none years and years ago.
-He rips his cape off, and then jumps off the cliff, starting the quest.
-Player plays as Mewtwo, travelling through the deserted farmland, where he'll fight shadow-creatures that look like the alloys from Melee's multi-man fight.
-Mewtwo makes his way to the entrance of the tower.
-Bowser appears, almost ripping Mewtwo with a one-shot laser, but Mewtwo teleports out of the way, going right behind Bowser. The fight begins.
-Play as Mewtwo and take down Bowser.
-Bowser is revived, and as soon as he was, he was automatically teleported somewhere else, and Mewtwo went inside the tower
-Play as Mewtwo and travel upwards, to the 2nd to top floor, and the enemies are the same, except tiny robots are also part of the fight.
-Mewtwo reaches the top, then Ridley appears out of nowhere, and grabs Mewtwo, and then throws him to the wall, and hard. But then Samus comes in and fires a rocket from behind, hitting Ridley. Mewtwo and Samus face off against Ridley.
-BOSS BATTLE! VS RIDLEY!
-After defeating him, Samus wishes luck to whatever Mewtwo is doing, and Mewtwo nods, the goes to the top floor.
-At the top floor, he sees Snake trophified, and closes in on him, when a mob of Red and black alloys attack Mewtwo, but then he slashes his way out of the giant mob with his Mental Spoon, and says, "You have much to learn." and prepares for battle.
-Play as Mewtwo in a 25 multi match with the alloys.
-After defeating them, he releases Snake, and then Snake and Mewtwo stare at each other for a minute, then the screen turns black, and a mechanical roar is made.
-Credits..?
Normal or Harder
-A mechanical roar disrupts Mewtwo and Snake, and a Metal Gear comes out. But this one is a new Metal Gear, known as Metal Gear Progon, which is a mecha dragon with rockets and many other weapons. On top of it is Liquid Snake, ready for battle. Mewtwo, however, has a choice.
Sides with Snake: BOSS BATTLE ULTRA! VS METAL GEAR PROGON AND LIQUID SNAKE!
-After beating them, Snake is too weakened for more battle, but then Mewtwo, with telephaty, pushes him out the window, and then laughs evilly, and says, "The world will be mine!"
-Credits
Sides with Metal Gear: He, with telepathy, kills snake by choking him, the dropping him out the window. Liquid Snake laughs, but Mewtwo then does the same to him, but knocks him first with the mental spoon. The Metal Gear retaliates, and attacks, along with 10 alloys.
-BOSS BATTLE ULTRA! VS METAL GEAR PROGON + 10 ALLOYS!
-After beating them, approaches the downed robot, and then laughs evilly, and says, "The world will be mine!"
-Credits
I need to do more work on here, so I decided to post early. Thumbs up, King. I know u'll approve this.
That's the way I toss the bacon into a burger, bro ^^ I was thinking Dragons and Pro-Gamers of SSBB for the name.Holy ****!!!
Metal Gear Progon!!?? Whoa, you made it how I wanted it and even added a twist to this, you sire are my new hubby and my favorite poster of the day.
I give this a++++ material son.

"I am the ultimate overlord, Metal Sonic! I am the real Sonic!"LOL Imatating Chaos, much there, Metal Sonic?
I think it was either Killer Instinct, or maybe Mortal Kombat 3 that had the combo number display, but I could be wrong on both counts. Also, Killer Instinct may not have been as competitive or as well renowned as Street Fighter, Samurai Showdown, King of Fighters, or Mortal Kombat, but they were still hella fun to play. I always mained Orchid in both games, and I swear Cinder is the Meta Knight of Killer Instinct 1. XDYeah, they joked about KI3 earlier. I think they would do it if Microsoft would let them. I say they should go back to Nintendo, honestly. They're more open.
And definitely do. Also, being an avid player of all 3 games, I do not find it one of the best fighters ever, but it sure as hell worth the try. It's also the origin of the favorable Combo Breaker, and is why combos with numbers started appearing. Or was that Darkstalkers on the last one?
Yeah, I actually found this out sometime this past spring. XD@Sol Diviner: Damn translations! Okay, in the U.S., that would technically hold true. I concede regardless.
I personally think Chaos is more bad@$$ than Shadow or Metal Sonic. But we all must know who the real kick@$$ character is: Big the Cat"I am the ultimate overlord, Metal Sonic! I am the real Sonic!"
I guess we all approve that this is going into my disscusion thread in the BRoom, then?asage, you made Mewtwo even more ****ing metal with that story bit than he already was. Good job dudeman.![]()

Fulgore, baby. Who doesn't love to play as the official mini-boss? And the main character.(seriously, why else would his face be on the first two cartridges if he wasn't the main character) And that's true. I have to look up which did it first. I just love the design of the characters, and how nobody felt the same.I think it was either Killer Instinct, or maybe Mortal Kombat 3 that had the combo number display, but I could be wrong on both counts. Huh. Speaking of that, I actually have the first half of the OoT Manga. Notably, Link raised Volvagia in it. Of course, this is a non-canon take on the games, but it fleshes out stuff that's unknown. Which is how I like it with the Zelda games. I think they should be more vague and open, but still have a good story. OoT did a great job at that. Wind Waker had the problem of having nearly one exact line of dungeons to do. I want the variety to return. It's not as bad as Twilight Princess and beyond. I don't want an indefinite dungeon order outside of the items. More freedom, man! I blame the story.Yeah, I actually found this out sometime this past spring. XD
Chaos wasn't really all that evil, though, in Sonic Adventure. He's still awesomesauce as it is, but I slightly prefer Perfect Cell... umm, Metal Overlord... to Perfect Chaos.I personally think Chaos is more bad@$$ than Shadow or Metal Sonic. Post count isn't effecting in Social groups right?Chaos wasn't really all that evil, though, in Sonic Adventure. He's still awesomesauce as it is, but I slightly prefer Perfect Cell... umm, Metal Overlord... to Perfect Chaos.
Omochao > Big the Cat
Yes, post it in dat BR, please, BTW.![]()
My codec and moveset are already posted there now, so go right a head. I shall allow it.I guess we all approve that this is going into my disscusion thread in the BRoom, then?![]()
Lol that reminds of a DBZ fighthttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0XamSkTRmM
Here is why Mecha Sonic would be too broken for Smash Bros., whether as a boss or playable character.![]()
Nope.Post count isn't effecting in Social groups right?
I feel exactly the same. Like, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess were good and all, but they felt too linear and way too easy, especially the latter half of Wind Waker and the entirety of Twilight Princess. I really hope Skyward Sword does the series justice, but it does seem to be even more heavily story-driven than all other installments, so we'll have to wait and see.Huh.
