Well Shadow is a clone after all, in the true sense of the word. I feel he should be similar enough to Sonic but have unique specials and his own flair which is why I did it the way I did. Not exactly the most unique or original moveset but hey Fox has Falco, Falcon has Ganon so why not?

Personal opinion.

They merely used his blood to help form a new life form. I wouldn't really say that this is on the same level as a clone because the genetic makeup is far different from each other. All the blood did was make it possible for shadow to have the powers that he does.

Same goes for the Biolizard.

That's technically correct. Clone (in the context of story rather than gameplay, of course) would imply that he was a 1:1 copy, which he's not...

Then again, the same could be said of Mewtwo, and everyone calls him a clone of Mew, so whatever.

None of the Black Aliens completely resemble Doom. Rather they be legitimate offspring or genetic creations. In the same regard of Mewtwo being a genetically altered Mew, Shadow is a genetically altered Black Alien. His appearance was crafted to resemble the Hidden Palace Mural of Super Sonic.

Still wasn't as bad as Elsword yesterday when a GM accidentally spawned a meme. The Prophecy of 100000510. That **** spiraled out of control so fast. Hundreds of guilds were started and disbanded, so much money was wasted, all to pointlessly advertise an accidental GM post taken completely out of context. It became the spitting image of America's economy.
