he had an accident of some sort that left him hospitalized for months(and still now). He was in a coma, he may or may not be now I'm not 100% sure on the details... maybe karn has gotten the scoop since i last talked to him, but it happened in march and apparently he has made progress since.

i think a car is all but settled, but bailouts occur, so you may wanna say you want the next spot or something.

i don't think they've decided an actual driver though. things of that sort will probably be decided the tuesday before the tournament, and will change the thursday before it, i would guess.
